Assasins Creed

Is it just me or does this game have a crap load of bugs...

This is the first game I bought for the ps3 so I don't know if its the game that keeps freezing or if it's my Ps3.

First mistake.

Spiderhulk u can also go back and do the pickpocket thing after the kill..as for the flags..its just for achievements.

Do the achievement points even do anything? Do they add to your health bar or anything like that? And thanks for your response.

The achievement points don't do anything... However, doing all the side missions does add to your health bar, eventually giving you 2 full rows.

The PS3 version is reported to have horrible performance when connected to PSN, and even when disconnected it runs worse than the 360 version. Ubi's working on the problem, but they claim they don't know what's causing it.

Whoa, I made this thread. But haven't played the game yet.

I still enjoy coming back to this game just to do some flag hunting, or mindless assassinations, deffinatly one of my fav games of the year.

I am replaying this because I want to have the game saved where I could just pop it in and mess around. When you beat it the closest you can get is to reload the last memory block and wait through the cut scene. So I'm going to play until I get to Jerusalem the last time with full health and all the unlockables.

But I just wanted to say that this game is still awesome. Playing it through a second time is just as fun.

LOL, it's cause i'm playing other games. I'm currently playing Mass Effect.

Just for my own benefit, exactly where should I play up to if I want to be able to still find all the flags/templars while being as close to the end of the game as possible, I don't want to miss anything. Keep in mind that I have not finished the game before.

I'd say just do everything up until the investigations for your 9th assassination. I forget what memory block that is. The memory block before the small memory block that the scientists said they want to get to. Once you complete the 9th assassination it's pretty much a non-stop train to the end.

Once you beat the end you can go back and do things, however you can not save where you leave off, meaning when you turn the game on again you have to pick a memory block and sit through a cut scene. But I believe the templars and flags do save.

So, Once you get to Jerusalem for the 3rd time, that's around where you should stop. (That's where I plan to stop on my 2nd play though)

Yep, flags and templars save.

I don't understand why the templars just go alalalalalelelelelele!!!!! and then attack.

I'm just killing the Templars and getting the flags as I go.

Yeah I did that too. Then when I finished the game and tried to go back and collect...yeah well many headaches followed. I couldn't remember who I killed and didn't kill or collect/didn't collect. Pretty lame.

I gave up.:down

I got it for 360 and really really loved it. One of the most fun games in years and finally a sandbox / openworld game that I can love. I'm no fan of GTA or Saint's Row but the freedom in historical cities of AC is really awesome. Plus, the animation and controls are flawless.

I rented this game last night. So far it's pretty good. I don't think I would have paid $60 for it, but it seems like a pretty cool concept, and the city scaling is really cool. The plot is pretty interesting too, although I know from reviews that it's all leading up to a big "To be continued, nyeh nyeh!"
