Assasins Creed

I hate the freaking lunatic one ****ing little push and they can ruin everything.
well the lunatics and the ****ing timed assassinations.

Haha, hell yea, damn they are annoying, same with the beggars. I kinda like how the beggers interact with you tho, adds another level of difficulty that would sooo happen in a crowd. I mean, thatd be just an assassins luck. Hes got his target in sight and hes about to make the kill when out of nowhere a damn beggar is in your face.

too true, I don't mind the beggars much though. I just run from them:D

There's an Achievement for throwing the beggars enough times.

Did anyone find the last two assassin's flags? I'm having trouble finding them.

BTW, for those of you who have finished the game and want more information on what exactly is going on, check here:

Be warned however because it is FULL of spoilerish information, but it's actually really interesting.

Yea, i posted that earlier.
Deff helped me out, i had a hand written page full of what looked like gibberish from me writing down everything i saw that was staining the walls and floor. That cleared alot up.

I beat the game last night.

That ending with Al Mualim multiplying himself was ******ed. The last fun part of the game was defeating Robert de Sable. Everything after that was confusing as all hell. Still, everything else was good.

It wasn't confusing at all. We just haven't been given all the pieces to the puzzle yet.

It was deff strange to say the least. I kind of enjoyed it tho, it was all "Raiders of the Lost Ark-ish". I also didnt see it coming, i was sure Al Mualim was telling me the truth the whole time. It didnt dawn on me until the last second, then i was pissed because i felt betrayed and i wooped his ass. I give Ubisoft MAD props for that

On a side note, is Altair and Desmond going to be the main character in the whole trilogy? Since many of the clues seem to point in new geographical locations, I wasn't sure if you were going to play through several subjects memories or if Altair was simply going to go continent hopping. Also, how much of the "bleed effect" do you think we'll be seeing? Will we be seeing full symbiosis between Altair and Desmond, is he going to become both with one emerging in moments of need, or will the duality actually force him to go insane like the others? All in all, I was definitely satisfied and more with what we got. It planted all the seeds and gave you just enough info to wet your pallette for more. Can't wait for the next one. Let the hunt for the Grail begin ladies and gents!

Dude, great questions. Me personally, i want Desmond/Altair to be the one and only face of this franchise. However, im not so sure thatll happen. If you hadnt noticed, there was a lot of references to ancient Japan in the main room. I think we'll be taking control of another individual and playing their memories as maybe a ninja in ancient Japan. On a side note tho, they deff lead everything open for what would look like the return of Altair/Desmond. Id love to see what you had in mind. Have Altair going to different locations, tho tha doesnt make much sense as Absturgo really has no more use for Altair/Desmond.

Yeah, because I avoided the spoilers. Hell, I didn't even know part of the game took place in 2012 until I actually played it.

Drizzle, ya might want to wrap that in spoiler tags buddy, incase another individual, such as yourself, comes in here looking for info on the game and doesnt want to have any of the secrects revealed.

Definitely. I certainly think Desmond will become the driving force of the uprising against Abstergo. I really liked how they turned Malik around too. That was very unexpected. Hopefully we'll see more of him throughout the series as well. Any thoughts or theories on what exactly the "artifacts" are? It's way too early to have any solid evidence, but I've definitely got some ideas rolling around in my head. I've gotta say that I'm really impressed they managed to intertwine the story with so many historical events. It really gives the story some weight.

Well, even those of us with minor info had to work at finding the answers Drizzle. They were very good about keeping their secrets. All I knew was that there was a sci fi twist on the game. Anything more then that was what I discovered along the way.

I say the Holy Grail will come into play somehow. I know Abstergo has given up their search, but i think itll come into play again. Im with the guys from Xbox World 360 Blog in that the Grail will come into play. Maybe Desmond will use the Animus again to synch back up with Altair and find the location of the Holy Grail. Because if any body knows where its located, its gotta be the assassins. Im with you tho, i think its BRILLIANT of Ubisoft to use actual historical events/conspiracy theories. Damn. Its gonna be a loooong wait for the next Assassins Creed.

One other thing...one of the informants you do stealth kills for asks you if you've seen X (woman's name here) since she left. Then he says, "Well, I'm sure you'll find her soon enough." It was very small and just mentioned in passing, but I wonder if that's going to factor in at all.

I am thinking that Desmond's female ancestor. Also, could we maybe not se Altair again, but perhaps more recent descendants of Altair?

Also the apples and other artifacts. Alien, time travelling devices or of Divine Origin?

I think we may even see Altair in the same capacity we saw Al Mualim. In the final letter on the Animus Altair says something along the lines of, "But for now my brothers need guidance, and as long as the Creed exists our kind will be around." He may become the new master and keeper of the treasure. As far as the artifacts go, I think we're going to see some amount of divinity involved. Many of the clues seem to point to the Templars being wrong about their belief in the lack of Biblical support, the Grail being the most significant. I'm sure it's going to become the most important weapon against the Templars. Alien is a good possibility as well. Hell, they could even be items brought from the future to the past to speed along the development of civilization. Vidic says something to Dawson about them not making any inventions. "Not made Mr. Miles...found. They're gifts." Also with the reference back to the Philidelphia Experiment, it's clear they have an artifact they can use for time travel. What's to say the "gifts" weren't left behind from the future? You also have to wonder what the islands like Yonaguni have to do with things since they believe an advanced civilization lived there prior to it's sinking. Hell, who knows? At this point it could be anything.

It's not often I like a mix of things, but here, because they played their cards from the get-go, it worked for me.

Also, I think we will follow the Miles family line, AKA the Altair family.
Now I am wondering, was Desmond trained as an assassin or was he sheltered from everything by his assassin parents? I am wondering if he got the training but never joined the brotherhood.
