Looks cool.

Shots in the past look beautiful, I guess this will have some kickass action to it, but the trailer overall is... Meh. Freaking pop songs, man.

Mildly excited for the movie, though. I hope it's something more than just a cash-grab.

I just hope this doesn't turn out like a Zack Snyder, where it looks pretty but suffers in story telling.

The trailer was thoroughly mediocre and features cringe inducing pop music. Yay. Unless this film gets positive reviews I won't be wasting my time.

Another crappy pop song. ****ing lovely. The trailer overall was pretty generic. I actually preferred the first trailer over this one.

Yep. Looks like the video game movie curse has another victim.

I liked it but as soon as I heard that pop song I knew people were going to hate it, lol.

This doesn't give that "Assassin's Creed" feel. There's so much modern day stuff. Looks like the final battle is in the modern day as well. All the shots from the past seem to me like they were taken from one or two sequences.

Final battle in Assassin's Creed II was in modern day too.

I thought it was a better trailer than the first one.

I'll take your word for it, as all I remember about the ending was some weirdness with the Pope(?) and the ancient alien beings. lol. Anyway that game was a multi-hour affair, with most of it set in the past. I'm just hoping that aspect (which is, imo, the most interesting part of AC) doesn't get overshadowed by too much modern day business.

The trailer did absolutely nothing for me.

Both trailers are made for general audience which isnt acquainted with this property. Us, fans and players of the game, we know overall story what it is about. We just hope it's good movie. And too me it looks good, action looks good, acting and setting also.

As a fan of the first couple games, i thought this was a really good trailer, and i knew people were gonna complain about the song, the games have a couple trailers with different kinds of music, AC2 had a trailer with dubstep on it, the only reason i disliked the first song's trailer was Kanye, i thought this was better.

As someone who's not familiar with the game, I liked the trailer. Just like you mentioned, action, acting and setting all look good. Definitely looking forward to this.

Wasn't that impressed. I think the movie is going to bomb.

Here is my issue. The live Animus thing is foolish to me. Why the well would Abstergo want to give him actual hidden blade gauntlets while he's hooked up to the animus? That Animus just looks ridiculous, and it looks like a way for dumb Abstergo people to get killed.

We don't get much of a feel for what's happening in the Inquisition Era. Also, why would Jeremy Irons' character say his lineage has been traced back to the Assassin's "Creed"?

Do the director and writers even know what creed means? Do they know what the CREED in Assassin's Creed actually means? I feel like if they did, such a stupid line wouldn't be in there.

They should've said, "His lineage traces all the way back to the Assassin Brotherhood."

this trailer is boring. what suprises me is that it doesnt even promote the movie in a way to buy the games. Someone got payed for this trailer?

Eh, remember that dialogue in trailers should not always been taken at face value. I'm not saying it's not *possible* that's how the line appears in the movie itself, but it's also possible that the line could be part of a splice and dice job (as is common with trailers) and him saying "Assassin's Creed" may not actually belong to the rest of the line.

Again, it's at least a possibility.

As for the trailer remaining vague on some of the details (of what's going on in the Inquisition Era, as you pointed out, for example)... personally, I'm fine with them being vague...there's enough that has me enticed. The rest and finer details I'm happy to find out when I watch the movie.

That's my take on it, at least.

That trailer just wasn't good. It was quite annoying in many ways.

Maybe this won't be bad but I don't see this being the video game movie to break the mold. The modern day/Spain ratio isn't comforting at all. That's the first bad idea. I didn't like the modern twist when I played the first game and I don't want to see even more of it for a movie. Even if they made it work, I want to see much more with assassins in the past doing crazy ****. That's the appeal right there.

I acknowledge that line could be the result of trailer editing. Then, it's still a dumb way to even shoehorn the line into the trailer.

A better way would've been this.

"Aguilar. Remember the Assassin's Creed."

"Believe nothing that you see. Everything is permitted."
