That's most of the reason why I didn't join up until after the virals. But yeah, wait until the games start again. Then we'll have a bunch of newbies appear to post their discoveries, only to disappear afterwards... :ninja:

how many posts before we aren't newbies anymore? 300?

I didn't mind it, other people didn't like it more then me.

I find it funny... but that is why I waited for a dry spell before I signed up.

yeah i always found it amusing, good idea though...i cant remember when i signed up (other than in Nov of course)

Yeah I miss the WB ninjas. But at least we know now that for sure they are watching us to see if we like the movie so far and to see our opinions on what they are doing.

I LOVE WB NINJAS!!

okay... now where are they?

Yeah, the Year Zero ARG stands as the all-time greatest...

But, this is just much simpler. LOL

When is our next viral coming!?!?!?!!!??!?!?!?!???!??!?!!!?!?

well... this one is the greatest, since it has to do with Batman, and Joker. so it wins be default.

but yeah, Year Zero was aparently epic.

The Wired article says that they originally wanted to blow up a building after a secret NIN concert as the grand finale (Trent was like, "These are my kind of people!"), but they all had to settle for a re-enacted SWAT takedown of the concert where all of the participants had to run for the buses. Apparently some planted girls were grabbed by the SWAT team to add some realism to it.

That's a pretty sweet way to end the ARG, LOL.

they have more money now.

Joker has to blow up a building.

has to.

the concert wasn't the "end", but it was the last big thing for the people to do. there was a good deal of info after that.

edit:nevermind. i misplaced some thing in my memory. you're right.

Look at it this way, they've already done the SWAT thing, at the comic con. a bunch of Joker's ran around, and then the cops showed up and took one.

so for the end of this, Joker blows up a building.

the ending for this will be glorious.

They wanted to blow up a building for year zero but that never came threw, so I don't think will get that, but then again The Joker has surprised me before.

darn I wish I could have seen that.I live in la, but I never get any info on time. Any1 want to become my memo reminder?

Not only the cost thing, but the liability thing. What if someone's still in the building when they blow it up? The pyrotechnic safety people always spend a lot of time checking and re-checking the place, but if they took that kind of time as part of the game, it'll probably lose its effect.

I find it hilarious that it was the first thing they thought of, though. :oldrazz:

my only question is, what purpose would it serve? every step of the game has had a purpose so far....how could blowing up a building help in an internet viral campaign?

ah, okay. So i was thinking about the "funny pages" thing and was wondering if anyone has checked recent batman comics for any viral stuff?

I mean that joker hostile takeover in san diego, I heard about the nin incident. As far as the reminder, I need someone to tell me whats going on, that I could see and be a part of.
