Thanks to the existence of the Aquaman movie and BP2 centering on Namor, now both Marvel and DC have brought their own underwater civilizations onto the big screen so I thought it’d make for a fun topic of discussion to ask which of their versions was better.

So which between the two is the better underwater civilization?

Tough one, but I give the edge to Atlantis, it just had more wonder about it and I preferred it’s history.

Visually, Atlantis
But it had so much goofy bulls**t that for the way the overall civilization is presented, I'd give it to Talokan

Atlantis, and screw Marvel for ****ing with Namor's origin and character.

One of their oldest and best characters and he's about as intimidating as Spongebob.

Excuse you, but the Sponge of Bob could be pretty mean when he wanted to be!

But okay, yeah, I get where you're actually coming from. And I give the edge to Atlantis because of how Wan made it look visually and creatively. I guess it helps that, for the most part, we got to spend an entire film in and around Atlantis in Aquaman, whereas Namor is just one part of Wakanda Forever, not necessarily the focus.
