Rise of The Skywalker? Otherwise, someone could get that mixed up with Revenge of The Sith.

I keep forgetting the title. I have accidentally called it The Last Jedi and Rise of the Jedi. These homogenized, corporate titles are blurring to me.

EDIT: Actually it is Rise of Skywalker. The title is so generic that I don't blame either of us for getting confused about this.

EDIT: I believe it's The Rise of Skywalker.

Two years prior to the movie's release? Highly unlikely.

Has there ever been a movie that has released a trailer two years in advance? Around Christmas 2020 is probably the earliest you realistically can expect a first teaser trailer. And it's not impossible we have to wait untill summer 2021. The first trailer for the first Avatar came just a few months before the movie's release, if I'm not remember it wrong.

Yeah I can't recall any movie being promoted so early. Unless they release a first look in a convention at any point in 2020, realistically I can see a first trailer coming at the end of next year at the very earliest.

Jesus...That is brutal.

Also, Matt Damon as Sully would have made Avatar even better.

An unknown worked because every other cast member was a name, he just picked the wrong unknown.

The biggest name in the cast was Sigourney Weaver. Zoe Saldana somewhat because she was Uhura at the same time. People like Stephen Lang and Giovanni Ribisi aren't big names, and the other scientists and such were unknowns.

they have fire projected on sides for reflections in the water. nice ;)

so Stephen Lang has shaved hair on the side for the scars like in the first movie. interesting. flashback or he is back in human form.

Jesus Christ, it's as if the entire production is trying to trick us that this is actually still happening. It's like a practical joke they're all playing on us

It really doesn't feel like it. I feel like I'll be withdrawing my 401K by the time it's released.

Lang's character could be a clone. Humans can grow navi bodies and put human consciouses in them. Maybe the military has cloning tech. Either that or he was resurrected somehow.
