This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]291118[/split]
To be honest I was meh on TDK's score. I honestly felt that it was one of Zimmer's weaker works so I wasn't too hurt by that. It wasn't bad, but Zimmer's done much better.
I really hope that some sort of special edition is announced for Legacy. I would so pay for a super-duper-edition that glows in the dark. Anyone with me?
Each to their own, for me its one of his best scores, if not THE best. Why so serious is on its own amazing.
That said i'm a big Batman fan so i'm probably biased, but i know alot of people thought the same thing (about it being disqualified) at the 2009 Oscars announcement.
I felt that Begins, Inceptions, Lion King's and Backdraft's scores were all better.
the soudtrack will never have any effect on future sequels. never. The soundtrack and toys have been selling through the roof I hope that incites people to buy the DVD/Blu Ray.
I think the sequel is still defintely possible at this point.
