Sci-Fi Avatar: The Way Of Water

Agreed! The guys a genius, honestly.

For me it's

Terminator 2
Terminator
Aliens
True Lies
Titanic
The Abyss
Avatar
Very similar to my list but I’d have Avatar a bit higher and Aliens second.

I got to visit Avatar Land at Disney World a few years back and it was a pretty awesome experience.

The Flight of Passage ride was by far the most state of the art ride I've ever been on. You're literally on Pandora, flying on a banshee. It's next level.

The lines were insane though. By far the longest wait times for anything during my visit to Disney.

I wonder, when we’ll see the first teaser trailer.
The Star Wars movies had their first teaser 1 year (TFA), 9 months (TLJ) and 8 months (ROS).

But this clearly different. This is a franchise, a lot of people have forgotten about.
Right before Multiverse of Madness will be released maybe?

I feel bad for anyone who didn't experience Avatar in IMAX 3D. It was/is the best way to watch it.
Why do you have to make me feel bad lol.

There's a big part of me that wished Cameron had done different movies after Avatar, but at the same time I truly admire his devotion to his vision. If Avatar is what he wants to devote the rest of his life to, so be it and I am excited.

If you live near an IMAX, I’m sure Cameron/Disney is planning on rereleasing it leading up to Avatar 2.
Oh most definitely I’m going to go see it at my local IMAX once they do the rerelease of the film.

It's also going to be weird seeing 3D come back in a big way for essentially this one movie (and its sequels). Yeah, 3D is still around but audiences mainly don't seem to care about it at all anymore. I think they will for Avatar 2 and the sequels but I can't see other studios following suit for their tentpoles the way they did after the first movie.

3D gives me such a headache. I just want this movie to be original so I can enjoy it in 2D. If all it has going for it is the 3D visuals, then I’ll be disappointed (just like with the first movie).

Even with "active" 3D glasses ?

Yep can't wait for that trail, it's been a long time coming.

Now can we get the first movie in 4K please?

I'd be shocked if Avatar wasn't out on 4K by December. It's also completely nuts that both The Abyss and True Lies haven't even been released on Blu-ray yet, let alone 4K. It's not like they're obscure titles. I know they were waiting on Cameron, but did he really have no time at all in the last decade to approve those?

There is a spanish Blu-ray release for True Lies in Amazon. What's up with that?

It's a "bootleg" copy but a company in Spain has transferred it on to a bluray without Fox's approval.

I actually "acquired it" and it's pretty legit. I also have the Abyss in hd and it looks phenomenal.

Oh, I've been waiting for an HD version of The Abyss for years. And it seems like I'll have to wait a while longer for the official release by Cameron.

The Abyss and True Lies have been promised on blu-Ray with what seems like a decade now. Apparently they even had retrospective documentaries on them! I can’t believe they haven’t been released yet but I’ll pick up both once they do! And those special features… yes please!
