. . . wow, they are really selling Neytiri as one of the good guys here. I guess we should be happy that she didn't insist that human children need to be killed?

She fell in love with a human why would she want human children killed?

I'm still shocked both are still coming out on the same weekend. Somebody's gonna move.

Aquaman was my favourite DCEU movie so far. But if only half of the people go watch Avatar 2 that have loved Avatar, than Aquaman will fail.
Aquaman 2 is no competition for Avatar 2.

I think avatar will move away from december from Aquaman. If Cameron gets asked if he wants to delay he will smile and say ''of course'' . George Lucas wanted to tinker with his movies but he knew that its limited and that you need to get the movie out. Cameron is going crazy. Between Titanic and Avatar was 12 years. with Avatar 2 it will be 13

December is Cameron's lucky charm month. If he's going to move it, it'll just go to December 2023, which I doubt. Aquaman most likely will flinch.

Aquaman 2 can at least move up a few weeks. Late November-mid December is basically wide open so it could have a few weeks before Avatar 2 rears its head.

Avatar wasn’t a great story but the 3D was incredible. If Cameron can make another experience like that, I’ll be there.

Also all of a sudden 4-5 DC films in the same year feels like an exaggeration. I really doubt none of them will be delayed and/or switch dates, even without taking into account the corona situation. And Avatar has been postponed too many times already.

Completely forgot about the Avatar sequels. Really looking forward to this one. I saw the 2st Avatar un real 3D and it was one of the most stunning experiences. That still and jnderwater sequence look very promising.

Is this going to use 3D in a similar/better way than the first film? The only disadvantage this time is that people know that 3D didn’t become the future of cinema as it might have. I don’t know why other films since haven’t implemented it better as the depth 3D was already so good all the way back in 2009. I think people would have been happy paying higher prices for the best films if that tech had been implemented well elsewhere and continued to improve all these years.
