Sci-Fi Avatar: The Way Of Water

Complicated in terms of the technical.

Just the amount of data they captured... Underwater performance capture with 15 cameras. 2 cams on every actor’s face capture. Underwater reference capture for fully CG creatures. Oh yeah and infrared depth capture to place CG characters in the live action footage.”

The big add was the dream Sarah has about Kyle Reese.

There’s a great site about which edition the director prefers with different editions.

I think the Kyle Reese dream came super close to making it into the theatrical cut and they cut it at the last minute. I remember getting a book on T2 back then that had a bunch details and photos of the production and it talked about that scene as if it was still in the movie. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who read it back then and was like, “Wait… when did this happen? Did I forget?”

I agree with Cameron that the theatrical cut of T2 is stronger. Been such a long time since I've seen either version, but I do recall feeling the added stuff bloats it last time.

I do like the bits and pieces of the T-1000 malfunctioning toward the end, but it doesn't lessen the threat slightly.

Granted, I think McFarlane’s stuff is usually a little more geared to the adult collector, but it’s bizarre to think how many kids who’ll want these toys weren’t even alive when the last one was out.

Those look great. I'm a little surprised that a more adult-oriented company like McFarlane is doing the toys but then again I don't think Mattel's line for the first movie was a huge success which may have been why they sat this one out. Also I feel like with the exception of Jurassic World stuff, more adult collectors than kids are buying action figures these days but I digress.
