World Avengers Assemble! Animated Show - Part 1

I'm gonna try to like it

So we just got an extended series with a lot of Hank and Jan.

Falcon is a classic character who we didn't see a lot of in the last series. Same with Black Widow.

Yeah was Black widow even in season 2 of EMH?

Yes she was. She appeared during parts of the Secret Invasion storyline and was assisting Fury. She also came back at the end for the Galactus threat.

She was only in maybe three episodes? and barely did anything. I'm looking forward to seeing more of her in the new show.

Yeah and Hawkeye did not seem to miss her, even Maria Hill was more involved than her,oh well at least she had a great story arc in season 1

Yeah, that really bothered me in season two. Her entire arc, and Hawkeye's main personal arc, revolved around each other, yet they didn't even interact in the second season. Hopefully they'll have more interaction in the new show, though I do really hope Hawkeye's personality remains the same overall. He was my favourite character on EMH.

People are saying he was cocky and hard a mouth on him in the test footage so I wouldn't worry about that.

Well that's good to know. I can't wait until we get to see some footage outside of a con. I know it'll be a while yet, but you never know.

If it's good, yeah. I want to give it it the benefit of the doubt, because it'll be the Avengers show available to us, but I remain wary. I'm not fretting over the most recent promo image, since I didn't think I'd like the art on "EMH" when we saw the first promo for that. I AM, however, still wary of Jeph Loeb and MoA's direction for the show. "Ultimate Spider-Man" has been a mess when Coulson isn't on screen (Coulson makes everything better), and this Hulk show they've got just seems bizarre.

This is true. I do feel cheated when they have an episode and don't have Coulson at all. Luckily, most of the later episodes had him...I hope they do more with him and Aunt May...

So, since Coulson was in the comic book for EMH and the new show is a continuation, do you think he'll be added here, too?

Wouldn't surprise me if they worked Coulson into Avengers Assemble. Coulson is basically the new Jarvis for this era.

Well if it is a continuation then he would be very easy to work in, since both Clint and Natasha started as SHIELD agents on EMH, and SHIELD did play a fairly big role in the show at times. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to more Coulson.

From the new announcement from Marvel on the date of the second season of Ultimate Spider-man, Marvel has given confirmation that Avengers Assemble is not a continuation of AMH but in the same continuity with Ultimate Spider-man as I suspected.

Although what really annoyed me was how they mentioned everyone BUT Black Widow? I thought she was in the new show?
