Dudes, look for THE ART OF THE AVENGERS in COMIC BOOK STORES. Not BARNES AND NOBLE. Online Barnes has no 'in store' status. Plus calling them up, it's the same. However - I was easily able to find it at the closest comic book store. Betting that's going to help some people find it.

No luck with the art book here. Barnes and noble doesn't have it in stores ( online) and my local comic book shop dosen't have it either. The other Barnes and Noble I called near me acted like the book didn't exist. There is one other Barnes and Noble I can try but it's a 35min drive from my house. If they do have I will just wait and try again Friday.

I am starting to wonder if this book even exists lol. No stores seem to have it but the release date was today. I hope they didn't cancel it, because this has happen before with the Transformers 1 art book.

Yeah, I loves all these "art of-books" and Amazon is great. I ordered it last night at 11:30pm and used "free shipping" and it was at my doorstep today at 1pm. Great book with a lot of info and concept art. Maybe a slight spoiler or two, but nothing too major from what I've saw so far.

Well, get it wherever you can get it ,
I got my Thor Art book at B&N
I got the Cap book on Amazon But that was because the only copies avavable at the bookstore were reserved for other people .
So Amazon may be faster,
but I think odds are very good that they will be available in stores .

I'm a long time lurker first time poster...well this is now my 2nd comment. But as for the "Art of the Avengers" I just got it today via Amazon. Went thru it briefly but man o man is it a good one. You will not be dissapointed at all. It's got a lot images and it gives you a lil tid bits on why they gave each character a certain look. Especially Cap and the infamous Helmet/mask. Even has a few storyboards for certain scenes of the movie. Like the forest scene and one for the final battle. So yeah 100 million percent a must buy.

Do you mean the cool looking character 3d glasses? I know AMC was giving those out but I think that's for the Marval Marathon tomorrow. Would be great if they gave them to the fans who are there to only see the midnight showing. Not sure what other theaters are giving those out.

Just got the " Art of the Avengers book". At work now but skimming it. looks like the first few pages are a fold out of the entire MCU timeline. Included some cool Stark Tower concepts. Cool Hulk and Iron Man armor concepts. actual costume pics of the various cap cowl concepts. I personally think the one with ears exposed looked awesome. Well worth the money.

I was gonna see it in 3D just to get a pair of those glasses but I ended up just buying tickets for the 2D 8pm showing Friday night. A friend who saw it tonight in 3D said I really wasn't missing anything by not seeing it in 3D anyway. Also I believe that the glasses are exclusive to AMC theaters, because my friend didn't get a pair of the cool avengers themed glasses (he saw it at a Regal Cinema).

Funny story on those Dr Pepper Cans. After searching 2 Wal-Marts, 2 Targets, and 1 Stop n shop To get them all (All but Thor lol) I then come home to find out, on the back they mention which cases you'll find which character. Like i posted earlier today, i wasn't sure if that fact matter'd.. apparently it does

I didnt find the art book .
But I did find a book called"The Avengers and Philosophy ".
It covers the philosphical questions surrounding the actions of the team and their enemies .
It should be an interesting read .
