Awake starring Jason Isaacs

Yeah found tonight's just as good as the pilot. And that ending definitely has me wanting to know what the hell is going on.

Liked the ending but doesn't that confirm that is the true reality, or why did we the viewer see it since Britten wasn't present.

The creator confirmed its not a dream or a coma

Another good episode but I don't know what to think about the last scene, it threw me off for a moment there and it felt like it was revealed too soon, perhaps I'm saying this because I'm really just fine with investing on which of the realities is real and the character drama right now that I feel like I don't need to care about the conspiracy mystery but it's too early to tell, we'll just see how that aspect will be handled.

Awake with a drop. 1.6/4, 4.33 viewers. Saw the pilot on DVR Friday. Got the second one to watch still.

NBC, you better air all episodes and DVD. Dat Jason I--wait, wasn't he in Resident Evil?

Really digging this show. I'm about halfway through the second episode now. What do you think the significance of the number 611 is?

In the pilot, I thought it was just something that connected the two realities, but in the second episode, the tall man's height was 6'11". Wonder how it will find its way into the story next.

After watching last night's oh so 'fantastic' episode of SMASH, I'm kind of bummed that Awake couldn't get the post-The Voice spot. I think this show is far superior. :(

TV Line:
In other good news for NBC, Awake in its third week saw a 17 percent bump in audience (to 5.1 mil) while matching last Thursday’s 1.6 demo rating (which marks a 33 percent improvement over the Peacock’s previous Thursdays-at-10 performances via Prime Suspect and The Firm).
It gained? It GAINED?!?! HUZZAH!!!!! :D:up:

thats funny because i felt episode 3 was very filler even tho i still liked it

**** the demos. :o:argh:

In Soviet Russia, demos **** you. :o

Hope it keeps going up or at least stays at a good numbers so we get at least another season.

The latest episode, despite it feeling a bit like a filler episode was good because of Isaacs' acting and the slow character development but there was no real tension and we'll all know that Michael will save his son at the nick of time, I'm just worried they went with this kind of episode that didn't mention anything about the second episode's ending, it could turn some of the general viewers off.

This show is quite good. I watched the first 2 eoisodes and it left me intrigued. I kinda prefer the reality where his son is alive just because the wife comes off as annoying (I blame the actress).

I agree, the wife is annoying. Besides in the reality with the son there is that super hot tennis coach. :hrt:

I still don't know what to make of the shifting from one reality to the other. He is physically in both realities and only his consciousness seems to jump between the two. If we believe the series creator that it's not a coma or a dream then we have to assume that both realities are real and connected, and he can jump between the two when he falls asleep.

I keep wondering if there will ever be a way for someone else to come into the other reality with him. I'd love to see that :)

really liked episode 4 probably my fav. just because of how it showed the parallels of the aftermath if a parent keeps on pushing their child after a loss and a parent who just gives up trying to get in after a loss

I liked the ep too. Still not sure on the long term dynamic(though that may not matter anyways)

The actress playing Kate is so freaking hot. Remember her on General Hospital and Homeland. Hope she gets a lead on a show soon.

Not enough people watching Awake or shows like Awake is one of the worst things about network television right now.

I love this show A LOT.

I can never un-hear Fes/Fez though .... How do you spell his name? (FES = foreign exchange student or FEZ = his actual name)

I don't think it's one of the worst things about network television. I think it's one of the worst things about viewers. Shame on them for choosing to watch crappy reality TV or watered down comedy instead of something that requires actual thought.

NBC should be commended for giving a show this smart a chance.

Britten's got himself a villain.

This show is vicious. I was concerned in how the concept would play out. It's working wonderfully. I hope the ratings go up.

Anyone else wonder whether or not the Gemini Killer is also capable of switching between worlds? I mean, his whole shtick is duality.
