Begins and TDK both had scenes in different international locations in Asia.

What other places would you like to see outside of America for the third film? What would bring him there?

Italy would be great. I friend of mine inquired about the possibility of him goin to Metropolis for some reason. Meh, i'd like to see him leave the country.

Catwoman? Please, please, please... horny fan boys, please stop it. Catwoman will not appear in this film just to please your sexual feelings!

I wish people would shut up about Catwoman. It's not the character it's the timing... she needs to be put in like Batman 4 or 5!

As for locations... I'd like to see them go to England or France...

What better timing is there than now? Rachel is dead. Batman 3 will be a sausage fest without a lady, so why not introduce the most popular and interesting of all the ladies in batman comics...Catwoman?

^^ exactly.

I'd like to see Metropolis. Or maybe just a mention of it.

What I would like to see is the effect that Batman has on the rest of the world. What do other parts of the country think about him?

interesting concept.

If he's already inspired people in Gotham to dress up as Batman I would imagine more would also do the same thing in larger cities.

Perhaps just a cameo of Bruce Wayne in Metropolis. Perhaps Wayne Enterprises owns the Daily Planet like he does/did in the comics.

I doubt it, of course. But I'd still like to see it.

I don't think it's mandatory for Batman to travel anywhere unless it's necessary. Nolan says placing him in the Himalaya's (BB) and in Hong Kong (TDK) opened up his world instead of confining him to Gotham, which was very true in the case of BB, though in TDK I thought there was little difference of any interest between Gotham and Hong Kong... in a perfunctory sense, yes, he travelled abroad, but it didn't shake up the movie in any way. If he does travel in the next one, it should be somewhere more recognisably different from Gotham, while still distinctively urban.

How about London?
Alot of scenes in Batmans films have been filmed in the UK anyway so it would probabley save on the budget if they just said they where in england instead of Gotham.

I would like to see Batman or Bruce go to africa, its not really a place we see much on screen and would be unique and intresting as it has a varied landscape (cities, jungles, moutains, villages, ect)

If Talia is main villain in third film, I'd like to see Batman in Egypt.

South America. It's where Gotham would be if Batman were "real" and/or created today. oh and Bane lives there, running the place.

Russia could be interesting. So would Cuba.

Anywhere but Venice.

and the bat-plane would bring him there :cwink:

I sort of talked about this earlier, that I said that the only way Nolan would agree to having the Batman franchise be hooked up with the rest of a hypothetical DC Movie universe would be if he could use it to further prove his themes. Like he'd talk about how he has heard about someone in Star City who is dressing up as Robin Hood and he can't help but think that Batman somehow inspired this "Green Arrow".

Singapore!

Singapore has been mentioned a few times in BB...and hopefully nolan and co. will come to singapore and film it.

Heh heh, I wonder why Batman keeps visiting Asia? I know the bat is a symbol of luck in China or something like that... Batman inspiring Green Arrow? Hmmm.

I loved the Hong kong scenes in "The Dark Knight". If Bruce Wayne, or Batman, goes anywhere, I hope the scenes are as well-played and relevant to the plot.

Here's an idea that's partly taken from No Man's Land. Joker is being transferred via plane from Gotham's Arkham Asylum to a New York Insane Asylum lab to have tests done on him. Joker manages to take control of the plane and turn it all the way to Iran. While there he secures several nuclear bombs. He contacts The White House and tells the President that he is planning to blow up Gotham if they don't declare war on Iran and destroy several oil rigs there. If they refuse, then he'll blow up Gotham with a nuclear bomb, and destroy the oil rigs himself. Either way they'll be in war with Iran and gas will likely go above $10.00 a gallon and then they'll have near about a civil war going on. No oil in America = chaos = Joker. Batman travels to Iran (via Batjet), stops Joker on top of an oil rig and in the process the oil rig explodes. Joker escapes in a helicopter but Batman uses a new and improved grabbler gun which is made to shoot one end of the chain on one object, then the other end on another, then it releases the chain all together allowing both objects to hold each other back. He does this to the helicopter and the oil rig. It brings down the copter and Joker jumps out into the ocean. He then uses his detonator to release the nuclear bombs. Batman gets into the batjet and chases down the nuclear bomb. He neutralizes it within miles from Gotham. It falls into the river beside it and we see a huge water mushroom!

Next part is optional (depending on whether or not Nolan is returning)....

Joker relies on plan B and detonates several large amounts of dynamite throughout the city knocking over a bunch of tall buildings (including Wayne Tower), which in turn falls over crushing more buildings. Lucius Fox is trapped in the bottom of Wayne Tower in the Applied Sciences bunker. He manages to get out. Causalities in Gotham reach an unparalleled level with the terrorist attacks from Joker. This leads to No Man's Land which will be carried out in Batman 4.

This brings into the story three key elements in today's world: Gas prices, nuclear bombs and terrorist attacks. And this, of course, is the final battle. Before it we have Riddler doing all types of shenanigans to trick Batman and the cops over the issue of Batman's identity.
