is there something as B or A villians for spidey ?
are they not all dangerous enough that they could kill him?

scorpion A or B
shocker A or B

and go on ....

Like A list villains and B list villains?

A Listers: Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom, etc.
B Listers: Carnage, Lizard, Hobgoblin, etc.
C Listers: Rhino, Shocker, Electro, etc.

I'd say that Lizard is an A Lister. I hope Webb can make Electro as famous as GG in the same way Nolan made Bane as famous as the Joker.

I don't need nor really want Electro to be famous.

Really wanna see Doc Ock on the screen again. McConaughey would be brilliant.

I too wanna see Doc Ock. This time we could get the creepily intelligent psychological cold Doc Ock

Electro will end up like Bane or similar.

Jamie Foxx is playing him, and hes the tent pole of a GRADE A super hero film, so he's going to suddenly become more popular then shocker and scorpion and stuff.

I think when ASM2 comes out it will follow...

A - Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom, Lizard
B - Electro, Carnage, Rhino, Vulture, Kingpin, Black Cat?, Hobgoblin,
C - Shocker, Scorpion, Chameleon, Kraven, Sandman.
D - Morbius, The Spot, Beatle...etc

Spidey Demographics is a 101 thing when it came to working at the office, and most of the office agreed when I brought it up today.

I would never have thought of Foxx as Electro but then again Webb's cast in TASM was very good. I don't mind them changing Electro up as he isn't exactly an interesting villain.

This is very interesting, as always when you post here!

I can't say that I agree with your list though. Kraven is definitely at least on the B-list, very close to A if not actually in that grade already. Kingpin deserves to be in A as well perhaps, even though he's more of a DD villain these days. I'd let Morbius into C as well, and take Vulture down a notch to that level.

If ASM2 can bring Electro into B (which I expect due to all the potential he has), then that's great! It would surprise me however if Rhino would rank that high.

I love what you say in your first sentences.

hobgoblin , liked him even more than the goblin himself
for me on the A list

I think it's hard to make such lists with the exception of A+ and A- villains. When it comes to the others, it's like you see the huge potential in some of them and want to put them higher but when you think about it, they haven't accomplished alot in the comics. It's hard for me to chose for example whether Mysterio should be B or C. I see him as a B.

So cool we're getting two C-lister villains for the sequel

Bane was already famous for breaking the bat. If you mean being famous to the mass of the general audience, sure, Webb could do that. It's all up in the air right now, though.

:applaud

Forget about Green Goblin, THAT'S who the villain should be in TAS-M 3.

I think two C-Listers would be great since I don't feel either one of them could hold a film by themselves, but the two of them can.

Is it wrong that I want the next Doc Ock to have a bowl cut?

They gave Max a combover. Ock will prob have corn rows.

Wait a second...

First you're like "So we will have Electro, Rhino, Black Cat, Vulture AND Green Goblin! It's too much!!" when other than Electro and Rhino there are only RUMOURS about Felicia Hardy and Adrian Toomes.

Then you're like "Oh no we're getting two C-listers, that's lame".

Where did Green Goblin go? Because you obviously forgot to mention the A-lister. And even if we won't get Green Goblin but only Norman, it's pretty obvious that he will play a villain role in this film so that would still be an A-lister.

Batman Begins had a C-lister in Scarecrow and A in Ra's al Ghul, but yeah the difference is obviously huge.

I don't consider Carnage as B listed. He won't translate well to the big screen and even if they find a way to do so he is still codependent on Venom. Too much of an off-spring villain to be considered in that class. I'd put him as a C.

Same feelings for Hobgoblin, he's an off-spring mediocre villain. Hardly a B.
