Marty and Doc must have screwed up the timeline somehow with all of their meddling. Thanks a lot, guys. I love you, but I want my freaking Hoverboard! :cmad:

They muddled it for their own sake

I had a thought about what they could do for a BTTF 4. Some elements would be lifted from the game

Marty's son, Micheal is into cars.

Doc brown is stuck in the past. He sends the Delorean back by with Einstein in it.

Doc recorded a message for Marty to find so Marty could save him. Marty is away on tour. He's got a band but it's only known around the state.

Micheal unexpectedly meets the car as it returns to the future. Rather than wait for his dad Micheal gets in.

Micheal arrives in the past.

The usual antics of the first three movies would be repeated with Micheal entering the local bar. Micheal encounters Bison Tannen.

I would love another BTTF, but I am afraid and almost certain they would ruin it and tarnish the name. If Zemeckis and his original crew came back id be less hesitant, though.

Zemeckis and Gale have been adamant that there isn't going to be a BTTF4, ever.
And IMO that's just as well, since outside of Fox's physical condition, if it's like any other twenty-or-so-years-after-the-last-one follow-up that's come out in the past few years, it probably wouldn't turn out all that great even WITH Zemeckis and Gale back in charge.
I wouldn't be averse to more games or even a decent comic book as follow-ups, though.

Hell no, I do not want a Part IV. I didn't even one after seeing Part III in the theater. It's a perfect trilogy the way it is, no need to screw it up with remakes or next-generation sequels.

Getting the game (which I'm finally going to play this weekend) is good enough.

They will probably never do another film. And I don't think we have to worry about it since gale/zemeckis own the rights to the franchise. Its like ghostbusters deal.

Of course, there was a Back to the Future Part IV...on Spin City:

i loved that episode! Lloyd playing a guy who thinks he's God and at the end of the episode he brings that one dude's dog back to life...haha

there was also a commercial for Spin City where Michael and the gang are in the Delorean time machine and they go back a day. it was to promote Spin City's new date and time

That promo was awesome! I loved that show. :awesome:

I remember another scene in that episode where Mike had just reassured the Mayor that Lloyd's character's religious beliefs weren't going to mess up the meeting they were about to have. Then they walked into the conference room and Lloyd had set up the whole place to look like the Last Supper. :lmao:

I remember watching an interview with Michael J. Fox ages ago when he said that the little boy playing his brother on Family Ties was devastated to find out he couldn't turn into a werewolf like he did in Teen Wolf. To cheer him up, Michael rented a DeLorean and took him out for a drive.

At least he has no trouble opening the doors if he's in a parking space with vehicles on both sides

actually the way the Delorean's doors are designed you can be very close to another car and still open the door.

You're gonna love it, it's got a ton of little Easter eggs to find - like Marty's room in 1986 has a bunch of those RQ books strewn all over the place. That was a mistake in the first movie: there's an RQ book in Marty's room, but whoever set up all the props didn't realize that was a reference book for librarians and most likely wouldn't be found in a teenage kid's bedroom. They pointed it out on one of the commentary tracks.

Well, finally some proof on how Doc could have gotten into the Delorean while it was in the truck/trailer with the ramp door shut...
