Mr. Swaggering-Tough-Guy-Thinks-He's-John-Wayne Jack Burton is a nincompoop full of hot air, whose constantly out of his depth, who keeps losing his weapons, who keeps knocking himself unconscious, and who keeps getting his ass handed to him in fights. It's his minority "sidekick" whose actually the badass. It's a giant middle finger to the classic Hollywood leading man and all the action movie tropes there in.

So yeah, it's a genuinely awesome movie.

Well said. It's a giant piss take of 80s Hollywood cliches. And a great film in it's own right.

Vampire's Kiss - Nicholas Cage at his craziest! This is an amazingly funny movie that is most definitely a "so bad it's good" movie. In particular, keep an eye out for the scene where Cage is calling out the alphabet. t:

I'm wanting to see that, but not for the Cage craziness, I wanna see it for Jennifer Beals.

Both of these flicks got bad reviews but I thought they were hilarious.
