Bad movies you LOVE!

Nothing But Trouble, old school flick with Dan Ackroyd, and Chevy Chase, and the late, great John Candy. I love just how balls to the wall insane everything about this flick is.

Super Mario Bros, how can anyone not find this movie fun? Dennis Hopper was fantastically over the top in this movie.

Deadpo...err Blade: Trinity, really only because of how much Reynolds made Hannibal, a costume-less Deadpool.

"The Phantom" with Billy Zane, saw it a bunch as a kid and became a flick I love despite each time I see it I see something even more ridiculous in it.

Frank Langella just devours the scenery. <3

This thread is a good way to bring us back down to earth. I think some of us tend to get caught up in our personal taste, but we're not all the cultured film connoisseurs that we tend to let on from time to time. Anyway, my list:

I could go on for days, so I'll just stop here :woot:

Last Action Hero a bad movie? Wow, this flick is still 10-20 years ahead of its time. I'd even argue the same thing about Starship Troopers.

Anyway, all the Highlander movies except the first one.

Starship Troopers is actually one of my personal faves. Nothing like the book whatsoever, but I'm not part of the crowd that would deride the film for that. I've always thought that the book was far too introspective and contemplative to be adapted faithfully for the big screen. Would've made a stellar mini-series, however.

As for LAH, I always thought it was little more than a fun, imaginative romp. Barrel of laughs, too.

If I love a movie, that means that isn't bad.

The Room

It's so funny & quotable.

Oh yes. It's Ed Wood meets soft porn. I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago with some other people and I just wanted it to be bad enough to keep us entertained. It did work. So many laughs with barely one moment of silence.

Swamp-Thing
A lot of the terrible slasher movies like Friday the 13th. I know they're bad but they are so entertaining, too.
These movies are hilariously bad, I love them too

Honestly, after I saw the horrendous Legend of Chun-Li, I like that old Street Fighter movie a lot more now.
Never saw that movie past a few scenes, and I like M.C Duncan scene in the house of Li during the times of a young Chun Li, never interested in watching more
The Van-Damme movie is so enjoyable it made me a fan of the actor

The Resident Evil saga
They are considered bad, I enjoy them too

Robocop 2
Ultimax Force
Corvette Summer
The Vindicator
House 2 - The Second Story
MegaForce
How Sleep The Brave
Submerged
The Crow - City Of Angels
American Ninja
No Retreat No Surrender
Nightbreed
Transformers 1,2 & 3
The Running Man

Xanadu - not too many movies have Gene Kelly *and* roller disco!

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - ambitious Beatles-themed 1978 flop starring the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton. Source of the Earth, Wind & Fire hit 'Got To Get You Into My Life'. One highlight is Steve Martin's wacky rendition of 'Maxwell's Silver Hammer' - he was THE hottest comedian at the time the movie was made. It was a box office disaster but I loved it as a kid and still find it fun to watch.

Superman IV
Wild Wild West
Stealth
Robocop 2

I really like Star Trek V

It's definitely better than TMP, Star Trek III, Insurrection and Nemesis
