Bad movies you LOVE!

I didn't realize Robocop 2 was considered bad.

Robocop 3, absolutely.

Dreamer, what nightmare is it you just posted before our faces? :barf:
Little Man is a better movie

Nothing But Trouble, old school flick with Dan Ackroyd, and Chevy Chase, and the late, great John Candy. I love just how balls to the wall insane everything about this flick is.
The only thing I truly remember about this movie was the cameo by Digital Underground.

Probably anything starring Chris Farley.

He was hilarious yet the actual movies were really bad.

This for sure ......

Ah yes, otherwise known as "the WCW movie". Surprised they didn't have the NWO in it.

LOL .... there are just so many lines I cracked up at. Especially the kid's dad who calls him ***** for talkin' on the phone.

Don't know about love, but I like Terminator 3 a lot more than T2 (even though everyone else hates T3 and loves T2). I really couldn't stand psycho killer Sarah and John Conner as an annoying pre-teen delinquent. The whole thing had the same feel as an extreme early 90's Image comic.

That said I love the original Terminator much more than both.

This thread is a good way to bring us back down to earth. I think some of us tend to get caught up in our personal taste, but we're not all the cultured film connoisseurs that we tend to let on from time to time. Anyway, my list:

I could go on for days, so I'll just stop here :woot:

I consider myself a pretty bad movie snob and even I would never call Starship Troopers a bad movie. Didn't a lot of critics love it for its prescient social-political satire? And Point Break is a bit cheesy, but I don't think it's really considered "bad."

Mission Impossible 2
My favorite in that franchise

This entire TV series. I still can watch it and love it, unlike other stuff from that time I could also feel a nostalgia bond with. To me, it was the realistic Spider-man, in the real world where maybe a radioactive spider can give you powers, but where you won't find a collection of flashy supervillains. I also liked how they would come with plots that were threatening and fantastic but still moere down to earth than the classic Spider-man: atomic bombs (hey, TDKR used that), Middle-East telekinetical priests, clones, far countries' former dictators, and a lot a lot of karate henchmen.

Superman IV
I love the third one more, don't really see how bad Superman III is, but I acknowledge how bad Superman IV is, and love it
Don't make me start a Bad TV series you LOVE thread. :csad:
Nothing wrong with that

In my defense, three of the episodes were released theatrically outside the US.
First three? I enjoyed them too tbh

No, the pilot, Deadly Dust (release theatrically as Spider-man Strikes Back) and the final episode The Chinese Web (released theatrically as The Dragon's Challenge).
Deadly Dust is two episodes
I didn't care to see more of the show, so Dragon's challenge is off my radar

Time to revive this thread, with more bad movies I like:

  • RoboCop 3
  • The Quest (mostly in the fighting tournament cliche department, the protagonist falls, but is given time to rise, unlike the rest of the contestants)
  • Mortal Kombat Annihilation (the more I watch it, the more fun I have making jokes about it. Having a laughing audience by my side makes it better)
  • Double Dragon (Guardians of the Galaxy reminded me a bit of this movie, and now that I saw it again, I enjoyed it this round, cause I loved GotG. Same sort of jokes, delinquent or otherwise)
  • Little Man
  • Iron Man 2 (if it is bad, I have no problem admitting enjoying it)
  • Steel
  • Dr. Dolittle 2

Battleship
Alien vs Predator
Underworld, the whole franchise

Off the top of my head:

You Only Live Twice
Commando
The Interview

Batman & Robin

Deep Blue Sea

The Faculty

Godzilla ('98)

Mortal Kombat

She's All That

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie

3 Ninjas: Knuckle Up

The Pest

SW EP. 1: The Phantom Menace

The Lost World: Jurassic Park
