Do we suppose it was Ford's personality Bernard was building into the red ball?
Could william's entire arc and what his plan was to replace the people in his lives with robots that he could control?
e.g. he set up his wife to die, and had ideas for a robot version of her, but then the daughter found the wife first.
Almost the extreme opposite of chaos is what William wanted.
Also, does everyone think that it'sthat is the other robot that Bernard created?Elsie
I'm thinkingWilliam's daughter was the other mind that Ford made. Its exactly the sort of thing Ford would do to **** with William.
The episode reveals that Ford made another mind, then that Ford Host talks to William about the game, and then William crosses paths again with his daughter. I think it's all part of Ford's game.
I thought she had proved herself human in the India area, no?

So did Bernard at one point. If Elsie was programmed to act Human, how would anyone know? Also, Elsie is acting way too human to be considered an android.

For what it's worth, I think she is Human, I'm just saying that we can't rule anything out at this point. I suspect the second AI chip is/was for Ford; he knew he was dying, and there was talk of immortality in the previous season. I'd think if anyone wanted to live forever, it would have been Ford, though I suspect his essence will be transferred into a younger body; certainly an actor cheaper for the show.
That has to be intentional.
Bill: You think death favors you, that it brought you back. But death's decisions are final. It's only the living are inconstant, they waver, don't know who they are or what they want. Death is always true. You haven't known a true thing in all your life. You think you know death, but you don't.
Craddock: Is that so?
Bill: You didn't recognize him sittin' across from you this whole time.
SO BADASS.

I re-read some of Ford's dialogue from S1, bearing in mind that there's some theories that he has possibly downloaded his mind to a host also - and it's interesting.
I recall this quote, which I thought at the time may be hinting at something greater -
"An old friend once told me something that gave me great comfort. Something he had read. He said that Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin never died. They simply became music.".
Those great icons never died because they lived on through their creations. What if Ford meant this quite literally?
Some of his previous dialogue which seemed less important at the time also takes on some new meaning after watching ep4. I don't think all of this is explicitly referencing that future episode in advance, but it certainly gives you a greater understanding of the workings of Ford's mind knowing that he was likely aware of the ability to place a human mind into a host body.
"Your mind is a walled garden. Even death cannot touch the flowers blooming there."
"Weve managed to slip evolutions leash now, havent we? We can cure any disease, keep even the weakest of us alive, and one fine day perhaps we shall even resurrect the dead, call forth Lazarus from his cave. Do you know what that means? It means that were done, that this is as good as were going to get."
And this clinker, which parallels nicely with the Devil/God speech that James Delos gave in ep4.
"You cant play God without being acquainted with the devil."
The writing on this show is great, it's rich and detailed and you can find so many interpretations.
