I was all on board Westworld taking place in another planet until someone pointed out that Elsie looks up at the stars when she is trying to locate Orions belt

Two grown men can't overpower a naked woman that weighs, at most, 130 pounds soaking wet? They can't run and get an employer to help resolve the situation?

Let's not underestimate the full potential of a murderbot. If she had overridden one of it's key directives, who knows what other failsafes it may have overridden.

So I finally watched a video on the theory [blackout]that we're watching 2 timelines at least 30 years apart[/blackout], and I'm officially 100% on board with that one. I mean, I liked that theory a lot before, but now seeing all the evidence I'll be shocked if that ISN'T what's happening.

Yeah, I feel like that is all but officially confirmed at this point. The evidence is glaring.

Yeah I'm all in on that theory as well, the evidence is all there[BLACKOUT], the other theory I'm warming up to is Bernard being a robot version of Arnold[/BLACKOUT]

The most interesting mystery for me, at this point, is about who (or what) Arnold really was (or is) and what really happened between him and Ford all those years ago.

But beyond that, there are literally so many questions and mysteries to unravel, some of which have led to some really interesting theories. Another theory I'm starting to get behind is that Bernard is a host, and possibly [BLACKOUT]a host-replica of Arnold himself[/BLACKOUT].

Yup, a lot of pretty strong evidence developing for that theory, as well.

A few links on that subject:

Well hot damn, I'm now subscribing to this theory as well!

I really hope they don't tease these out for too long.

That alone is almost enough to convince, at this point.

I love how things this -- that seemingly mean nothing to us when watching the earlier episodes -- now have the potential to be extremely important and revealing as to what's going on.

Agreed. Even if one doesn't subscribe to the [blackout]William=Man in Black[/blackout] theory, the fact that the show itself visually points out that there are [blackout]two different Westworld logos, and that one of them is "older" than the other[/blackout] is enough of a potential clue that suggests [blackout]we may have been watching a non-linear narrative unfold[/blackout]

EDIT: Also, here's something else I thought of
During the Man in Black and Teddy's conversation about the Maze, and where it talks about what it signifies, he says: "At the center, there is a legendary man who had been killed over and over again countless times but always clawed his way back to life, The man returned for a last time to vanquish all his oppressors in a tireless fury. Built a house and around that house he built a maze so complicated only he could navigate through it. I reckon he’s seen enough fighting."

Obviously, the "legendary man" sounds a lot like a host, and that it's also describing Arnold. But I got to thinking: while legends are based on fact, often times they get those facts wrong. What if it's not a "legendary man who had been killed over and over countless times?" What if it's really a legendary woman? What if the legend of the maze is really talking about...Dolores? After all, she revealed Arnold wanted her to destroy Westworld, right?

Can you post a link to the video in here?

so now we have proof that it was not Arnold in the picture.

i think what we see is Arnold taking a picture of Ford and his robot Father that he gave him as a gift.

We already saw Arnold on screen.

In his scenes with Dolores, looking like Bernard. He wears different stuff, acts differently, knows different things (the maze). I'm more convinced of this than of 2 time frame thing but I also think 2 time frames is true and we will get a confirmation of it in episode 7.

Yup,positive these are scenes with Arnold and Dolores, even the room surrounding them looks old
.
.

Also fairly confident that the voice over we hear in the pilot was Arnold's and not Bernard (during the attack on Dolores and her family)

yeah i think so too.. when you watch the conversation ford has with bernard in episode 3.. its so loaded with double meanings (especially the end)..

furthermore his talk about being at HQ forever..
