This was an intense episode, that's for sure, felt like a lot was revealed and a lot of theories possibly laid to rest
Well, cleary those two guys are too f***ing dumb to know how to do their jobs, so it's not surprising they forgot how to control her
Seriously, I felt like I was watching these two bumbling dip****s set off the robot uprising in this episode, it actually kind of annoyed me; when they do rise up, I want it to be because of Arnold or whoever else's meddling, not two pervy jackasses doing it by accident.
And note that Maeve didn't actually hurt either of them, if I was bearded dude I'd have said "bulls**t, you can't hurt me, I'm alerting the higher ups" and make her at least prove her threat was real
I'm sorry, I couldn't stop shouting at my TV while watching this... apparently I can't stop now either lol
How come no one noticed them when she was being given a tour of the upper floors? Wouldn't it be weird for one of the hosts to be roaming around the halls and not inside one of the rooms where they were being tested?
The doofus was attempting to make it look like he was leading Maeve around with his little tablet computer. Anyone that saw them probably just assumed he was doing something on the job. If one of the bigwigs wouldhave seen them tho questions would have probably been asked.
Kinda surprised they revealed it this early into the series.
See, this is the problem with this show for me. There's no logical reason Maeve couldn't have been switched off. In fact when you have it in the back of your mind a lot of what's going on can be fixed by hitting the off switch a lot of the tension and drama goes away. If Teddy gets branded what difference does it make? He's not real. How can the Man in Black be in any real danger if he can't get shot? If Maeve becomes aware why have an entire conversation talking with her when you can just shut her down and decommission her?
Also, I'm now completely convinced that [blackout]Bernard is host-Arnold. That room where he was having his meetings with Dolores (presumably in the past) was totally the basement from the end of this episode, but without the machinery.[/blackout]
