The Dark Knight Bale's rendition; what should stay and what should go?

It was only pointed out in one scene that lasted less than 8 seconds and it was lighting not photography. :)
I know you said lighting in the beginning of your post but I didnt quote that part so had to add that in.

Fair enough, some of the other posts on the subject were a little more general so like I said I was also speaking generally I wasn't trying to personally go after you. I was just sort of shocked that it would be complained about.

I don't want him to just duplicate his performance in Begins. If he does that, he'll just sleepwalk through the whole franchise playing Bats the same way. Don't get me wrong, I think he nailed it, but with a character like Batman, you can play the part so many ways.

Bale is the last actor on Earth that would ever sleepwalk through ANYTHING let alone a day at work! He'll continue what he's doing because he did a damn good job. Bale clearly understands character and storytelling, he'll help the character grow while keeping him consistent with his first performance. He's a very focused, intense actor.

Naaaah... Bale I think deep down takes a sadistic pleasure in getting into the stories and characters he plays.

I did the post about the general lighting feel. I was talking about how Batman is normally portrayed in blue with lighting in the comics but in BB he is portrayed in more of an earthy rust or gold. But I understand the decision, I just hope sometime in the whole trilogy we might see a blue light Batman. It can just be one scene, like a fight scene, just a homage to the comics:D

Ive never felt any poster was coming after me.
I just dont read posts that way, so, please dont feel the eggshells. I dont want any of that poster madness to come between our constructive discussions.
no worries :D

Well...except that one time when that guy said,"Im coming after u,"...

The voice, the voice, the voice and the voice...I absoultely hated his Batman voice. He sounded like an old hooker who has smoked for all of her life. I still can't watch the movie without laughing at his Batman voice, hell I was laughing in theaters. I liked the movie BTW.

Saint Im not going to go through and quote you so we can discuss (and agree mostly) on your ideas. That would just ruin your beautiful post :D

I agree with you, like I said in my first post, that I would like to see the dark Batman. I actually want to see him "get lost in this monster.." of his."

Mainly because that will bring us closer to the full circle of Batman we have read in the comics.
And I can see what you mean about the motivational differences in Keatons whisper and Bales animal voice. A combination of the two would be a perfect addition to the sequel for the BB batman as long as we see him start to slip into his own darkness.
You know, that whole siddharta thing ;p

And that is why I truly believe...he is Batman :D

Yes in Begins, Bruce just started as Batman and as the movies go on bruce will be "getting lost in this monster.." of his." you know

Well, we can only hope Nolan goes with that.
