It's from Sinister Six.

have you ever noticed that Spider-Man's villians are always wearing green? That may include Green Goblin and maybe..The LIzard.

Another route they can go is to borrow the "slappers" idea from Batman Beyond. Might be more realistic than having a tube in his head...although I do like the venom tubes.

I think it makes the most sense to just have him take it through a needle. I don't know anything about performance enhancing drugs, but isn't that usually how it works?

The needle thing could work too, but kids might get the wrong ideas. But if that's the approach that Nolan wants to take, im sure he'll do it tastefully

Bane.... nice choice for the next film. The character was misused in Batman & Robin so it'll be very interesting to see Nolan's version of the character. Actually I didn't think Nolan would ever consider Bane as a main character because his massive trademark size is unrealistic. Tom Hardy is shorter than Christian Bale and as I said before, I doubt he can look bigger than Batman with the suit on. However if the character is Nolan's choice then I trust him to make the character work, even if it's not "spot on". It's a better choice than a typical villain such as the Riddler.

The slappers is an exaggerated way of how enhancing drugs work. Regardless how the drugs are exaggerated by the media, it takes a long time period to make noticeable changes.

Yep. Lizard, Gobby, Mysterio, Doc Ock, Sandman, Electro, Jack O'Lantern, Scorpion, Chameleon has a few green outfits, crossover characters like Dr. Doom.... :funny:

I don't get why Bane NEEDS the Venom.....Seriously theres nothing wrong with making him just a really bad ass dude who can kick some serious ass and have him be pretty big at the same time.

If Batman/Bruce Wayne can obtain skills to kick anyones ass than why can't Bane?

Besides i highly doubt Nolan is gonna include the whole Venom angle, would be a huge depature from what tone he is trying to go for in these films.

The whole venom angle really imo takes away alot from the character, would be way more cool if he didn;t need Venom to be the super strong bad ass he is int he comics.

Taking away the whole Venom thing really doesn't change the character that much.

It will be interesting to find out. But like I said, Bane's trademark size is very unrealistic so I'm sure there will be a somewhat modified approach with the character, unless they heavily rely on "camera magic" or CGI (I doubt Nolan would consider the second option).

I probalby shouldn't have used the word "Super big", but honeslty all Tom Hardy needs to do is get bigger like he did for Bronson(Maybe not as big, more fit than Bronson i would say)

THe whole Venom angle isn't going to be in this movie anyways, so we can sit here all day and debate how he would incorporate it but theres a good 90 percent chance that Nolan is just ignore that all together,

Again that doesn't make or break Bane in terms of a character, just like Joker not having perma white or a poison inducing Flower or Ras al Ghul NOT being an immortal ,didn't make or break them as a character.

The same reason athletes use steroids.
Taking it away does change the (lame) character.

For all the want I've seen for him, I find it odd how many want to change him so much.

I really like the choice of Bane in this film because it presents a more physical threat. One problem I would imagine with a traditional character like the Riddler is he is pretty similar to the Joker, except instead of chaos he relies on confusing riddles. The animators of the Batman Animated Series sited the likeness to the Joker as one of the reasons they didn't utilize the Riddler as much, especially in the final season.

Bane is a different breed of Rouge that from a different era. It would be nearly impossible to top the Joker's antics, so going with Bane is a fresh approach.

I am really excited to see how this Bane is executed.

IMO he wasn't as enormous in Broson as others claim.

Even if he decides to use the venom I trust Nolan to make it work in his universe (not to sound like a Nolan loyalist). After all, the idea of Batman flying through the skyscrapers with his cape sounds very unrealistic although he made it believable in his films. But there is always the possibility he will come up with something else. But the key thing is they capture what the character is actually about, even if the look of the character isn't spot on.

You know all this talk about fusing characters? Like Talia into Catwoman or Black Mask into Bane?

I think Nolan is way ahead of you. Charles Bronson at some point had a massive beard, bald head, and decidedly round glasses. Hardy played Bronson, and is now playing Bane.

What do you guys think? Will we be getting Professor Hugo Bange? :awesome:

Just watched Bronson again.

I can't wait to see Tom Hardy's Bane. He's such an incredibly charismatic and magnetic screen presence.

Spidermans bad guys tend to wear yellow and green a lot simply because spiderman wears Red and Blue. Bad guys in those colors may confuse the reader where they are in combat or in the shadows.

Bane needs venom. Its what makes him not just Batman but in a different costume during their encounters. Bane is that guy who thinks that he needs to edge to counter Batman's all natural body. Bane becomes to serious depend on the stuff that it can be used against him. In the comics he learns to get off the crap and be better for it. I don't think they need Bane to go hulk but something that boosts his skills can easily be demonstrated.

I'm sorry. I can tell you guys put a lot of hard work into the manips, but every interpretation of the character I've seen with a mask looks really silly.

I just don't think they'll use the mask, personally. It looks way too gimmicky.

Batman should drop his and The Jokers make up was just silly
