I think he may be more interested in a chaotic dog-eat-dog scenario in which he can be the strongest figure amongst all the anarchy. I'm sick of the mob, I really want to see Zsasz return or Mad Hatter make a cameo. Not a starring role, just a kind of extended cameo. And the way to do this would be for Bane to get rid of Batman and just open the floodgates. Beating Batman might not be enough, to fully defeat him, he may want to utterly ruin the city that Batman cares about so much.

But at the same time, he shouldn't be a 2D 'evil' character. Remember, the guy who broke Batman's back is also this guy:

He has to have a sense of honour to go along with his ruthlessness. Kind of like Simon Gruber in Die Hard With a Vengeance when he becomes slightly offended at the suggestion that he would kill children and protests that 'I'm a soldier, not a monster. Even though I sometimes work for monsters.'

Thanks for that panel. He seems to have a twisted sense of honor. He also respects great men/warriors in the panels posted by Saint.

I know they wouldn't do this type of poster again, but I wanted to see what it could look like with a mob-style Bane in this type of world. Sorry about the B&R Bane mask, it's the best one I could find. That's not saying a lot.

Cool poster!,I doubt they would use that mask again But it's not that bad except for the colors,I say kinda dark red eyes with rest of the mask pieces being white.(or perhaps the blue being dark metallic blue or red).

I would not mind him being in a suit for a few scenes like during his introduction or meetings with his employers who want's him to take down Bats!(IF that's part of his story).....After that,I say have his wrestling tank top or some other suit for stuff like his fight scenes.

I read an interesting article talking about how Bane's creation as a character basically combined elements of Bonecrusher, KGBeast, Deadshot and Wrath.

Another route they can go is to borrow the "slappers" idea from Batman Beyond. Might be more realistic than having a tube in his head...although I do like the venom tubes.
