That armor suit would fit perfectly in Nolan's Batman's!,Although I can totally see some people from the general audience or even perhaps from the fan boys&girls going"that is so lame/gay/******ed"(lame I understand,But last two is very very illogical to compare to those words.....I can never understand why people use that instead of simple&logical like stupid).

Actually, does this suit remind anyone else of Smoke&Cyrax from Mortal Annihilation?????,Still a great suit though now looking at it more.

That is a very interesting angle, actually, since this is the first time that a villain will have a mask hiding his true identity, along with CW. Crane was weraing it just to make his toxin more effective.

This can provide for many thematic opportunities.

One could say the Joker's makeup is a mask of sorts.

Henry Silva was so great as Bane.

"I was hoping for more of a fight. But what could I expect from a killer of children?"

I read an article the other day talking about how Bane was essentially a hybrid of four other already existent characters: Wrath, Bonecrusher, Deadshot and KGBeast.

I never got why they gave him the cliche goth collar/bracelets in that version. :funny:

Great scene nonetheless.

I have a theory that I so strongly believe that I will put a spoiler up. I do believe that Bane will be a hybrid but I think there is a name that haven't listed that will be very influence in the story.

The Reaper.

And here is my theory on how I believe Batman will be being broken in TDKR.

From the comic Batman: Year Two. "Batman by now is an established vigilante in Gotham City. Captain Gordon has recently succeeded Loeb as Police Commissioner, and is addressing local media stations on his new stature. The media also reflects on the anniversary of the final sighting of Gotham's first vigilante, The Reaper.

Bruce Wayne, Batman's alter ego, in the meantime is visited by an old acquaintance, Leslie Thompkins, the medic who helped to raise him after his parents were murdered, and knows all too well of his double life. She is joined by Judson Caspian, and his daughter Rachel, who gradually develops a romantic infatuation with Bruce Wayne.

It soon comes to light that Judson is really The Reaper, driven to his life by the tragic death of his wife and it takes only one stroll down Gotham to remind Judson of the horrors of crime he thought he had put to rest long ago in his dual identity; he returns to his apartment and dons The Reaper costume. Immediately making an impact and leaving several criminal heavies dead, Batman and The Reaper soon come face to face, but The Reaper's experience and weaponry prove too much for Batman, and he is left bloodied, broken, and forced to flee before he is killed. Upon returning to Wayne Manor, a bandaged, injured Bruce angrily admits that his best wasn't enough, and that perhaps the only way to confront a killer with his measure of thinking head on is to become that which he loathes the most, prompting him to now bear a firearm, the gun that took the lives of his parents."

For more on what I think will include major element in TDKR except with Bane in the place of the main villian:

Not a real big fan of "Deathstroke Bane". I don't think he should have a full bodysuit. I feel like him having his arms exposed is fairly iconic. Wouldn't mind if he had some armor on his chest and his arms covered at times (trenchcoat, suit, etc), but leave his arms exposed at some point.

yes sir indeed!,That armor manip pic with that suit But shirtless or just short sleeves could also work perfectly!.....IMO

Do you think Bane should have henchmen/friends/whatever in this film or should he work mostly alone? After all he had his little gang in Knightfall. And of course there's always the possibility that he is just working for someone.

I'll accept him working FOR someone,But not WITH someone like henchmen or whatever!,Yeah he has had a small group in the comics But still.....I much prefer him kicking ass solo!,comics or film.

Nolan used a frickin' microwave and a sonar with comic booky prowess, its not out of the realm of possibility that Nolan would use venom.

Funny you should mention this. I was reading up on this a few weeks ago, I have it on my list of books to pick up...and was thinking about how it could influence a 'year two' in the nolanverse.

Yeah but so is Joker having white skin.

Remember Bale's Batman is fully armored. Can we really buy a normal sized Tom Hardy in a vest kicking Batman's ass to hell and back?

Unless he can get to Broson size very quickly. Right now he is not big enough to be showing off skin when fighting Bale's very armored and stealthy Batman.

I don't think having his arms covered is going to make a difference. Soldiers go bare-armed in movies all the time; I don't think anyone's going to notice, much less feel that it somehow makes Bane too vulnerable.

If Bane is a hired gun for someone, it's a MUST that he eventually outsmart his boss and make it clear that his true intentions are total supremecy over Gotham.

Bane takes orders from no one, unless it furthers his agenda.

Absolutely.

As you can see there are several elements in that story that would fit very well into Nolan's series.

Too similar to Joker for me.

The skepticism is a bit misplaced. It's not the venom, it's the effect if has on Bane. In particular the superhuman strength and gargantuan size of his build.

I compare Nolan's Batman world to that of James Bond. It only looks realistic. But all in all pretty outlandish.

I'm fine with him just getting totally ripped. And I want to see him punch through solid walls. Otherwise, why get Bane? Bane without superstrength, you might as well get any other villain that has a rep for hunting Batman.
