Even though he said he wasn't the same guy C Lee just went "unh hunh, yes you is" then booted him out again.

He went through 3 accounts. :funny:

That's dedication and being unwilling to give up.

Andrew Garfield/ Lucas/Tyler/TASMPeter didnt understand IP Adresses. :hehe:

I think he understood that all too well.

I have Lazarus pits concealed here on the hype, for when the day comes.

He posted something about taking over SHH on the SWH forums.

C. Lee saw it a banned him for trolling.

C. Lee watches us on other forums? He's like...internet Jesus. He sees all and knows all.

That seems kind of...unfair...I mean, what he says and does on another forum isn't really the business of anybody here. But I didn't know the guy, maybe he had it coming.

Everybody was accusing him of being another user who was on probation and I posted a link as evidence that he wasn't.

It is pretty unfair, imo, and he claims that the comment was a joke.

Well, if you're on another forum saying you are going to cause trouble on here then this site just like any site has the right to protect itself. Honestly tho the guy was likely harmless and not a hacker so the mods should have waited for him to something here before actually banning him.

He could have probably successfully challenged the first banning if he hadnt created so many other accounts. That lost him any leverage he might have had to contest the first banning.

Here's a question for the Hype historians: quite often, when someone unfairly criticises a celebrity's appearance, they are invited to post a picture of themselves/their girlfriend in order to establish their credentials as a body-fascist. Has anyone ever risen to the challenge, and has it ever ended well?

Agreed.

He only made it worse for himself when it could have all been rectified with a simple explanation.

This is one of the few message boards where you can't really fool mods since they can check your IP address. If you have multiple accounts originating from the same IP address and chances are you are a troll or got banned for being stupid in some way lol.

I thought there was a poster who did that, but I am not totally sure. This person, I believe, posted a pic of a girl when HE was in fact a man. The girl whose pic was posted was cute and above reproach; however, the jig for the real poster was up when the "girl" in question verified her identity. Then someone who knew the real poster posted a pic of him and c'est la vie. He was banned. Of course, all this is second hand, so take that for what's it worth.....

There are ways to get around the IP thing, but you'd need to have a degree in IT or know IT to pull it off. As much as I love this place, if I ever incur the wrath of the banhammer, Im not sure itd be worth the hassle of fooling the mods to come back. I wouldnt be able to act like me or let anyone know who I really was so there wouldnt be much enjoyment in it. So if youre banned its best just to accept it and move on.

I do however think lifetime bans for 10 infractions are a bit much. After a year or two a person should be allowed back or allowed to make an appeal to return with a probation period to see if theyve actually improved their attitude. If they have straightened up then what's the harm in letting them rejoin the community?

Hunter Rider just said "He was discussing oral hijinks in detail."

Someone thinks they're BMOC.

He's not even in college yet, so what does he know? :cwink:

Nope.

There was a poster who was eventually banned for that in Batboards after Ann Hathaway was cast as Catwoman. Some guy was complaining that she wasn't hot enough for the role and posted a picture of his "girlfriend". However, after looking more into his photobucket account, that was the only picture of his "girlfriend" and the other pictures were of a fat guy playing video games.
