Baptism

It is, but it is a parent's choice. Getting circumcised or baptised isn't going to **** up the kid's life...that is my point. He won't remember the circumcision or the baptism so it really doesn't matter if they happen or not. It is a parent's choice is my point. Plus, as I have said, I have read that there are more health benefits for a circumcision than not getting one so I would like my kids to be the healthiest they can be. I would get it done by a doctor...not a Clergymen of course.

I agree with what you're saying about baptism, however circumcision is different. It does **** up a kid's life by removing an important part of the PENIS.

They remove a part of THE PENIS. They take off a part of your PENIS. And in reality there's no proven reason to do that. It's not more difficult to clean an uncircumcised penis than a circumcised one. It decreases sexual sensation and is unnatural.

No circumcision.

Well, look at it this way: Did your son choose to be born? No? *GASP!* THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HIS CHOICE YOU DICTATOR!
My point is, baptizing someone does not make them a Christian and will not save them. Only accepting Jesus will. If you and your wife feel that you should ultimately, then do it. It isn't like baptizing him will magically force him to be a Christian.

Let your son decide when he wants to get Baptized. And if they're the great Christians they think they are and they're still judging ask them why are they judging you?

Also circumcision is only good for warmer climates.

Well when I get my foreskin back I'll let you know. :o

You know what else is unnatural? Medically removing wisdom teeth that are compacting your other molars. Braces are also unnnatural. Laser eye surgery is unnatural.

It does decrease some sensitivity, but it doesn't end it. Men can still copulate. It is just a cosmetic procedure like those I listed above. It may be unnatural, but it can have some positive outcomes. Those are listed in the link I gave you. I look at things from the child's health. There are drastic benefits that over weigh pleasure. I also found this interesting:

Overall, it is easier for the child to clean that may not do so otherwise. That decreases the chances of infection and disease. Not everyone takes the time to fold back the foreskin, clean the area, and then go about their business...especially children and teens.

Plus it's just plain smells better.

:thing: :doom: :thing:

Everyone smells better if they clean themselves. Circumcised or not

Those are all corrective surgeries that are design to fix a problem. Foreskin is not a problem. And poses NO health risk when left intact. In fact there are lots of dudes that still have their foreskin and they have no health issues.

Removing the foreskin is a medical procedure that could have dangerous side-effects, while these generally don't occur it sure is an unnecessary risk near your widdle warrior.

How hard is it to clean under the foreskin? No more difficult than behind your ears or the soles of your feat, right? If you've got foreskin then ****ing fold it back and clean it. Hell why not just chop the whole damn thing off if you're too lazy to clean it!

Which is now opened up to the free world to become desensitized. Meanwhile the foreskin is designed to protect that part so that during sex it feels much better.

Okay, gents. This is not a circumcision thread! :p

Well the foreskin can feel sensation so removing it would seem to decrease sensation, right?

Not nessacarily, in a study done with grown African tribesmen who were circumcised in an attempt to help subdue the rampant spread of AIDS. In this study both men and their wives conclusively approved of the circumcision saying that it only added to their sex lives, and the men proved happier with a circumcised penis rather than their old uncircumcised one. Many of them felt more pleasure.

So... not really.

I don't think you see beyond wanting sex to feel better Majic.

Frostbite...those yahoo answers link I posted also shows that more people, men and women, prefer uncircumcised.

Immediately after circumcision there can be increased pleasure but eventually this fades with time.

Which is personal preference. Plain and simple. Which is a fine reason to get part of your willy whacked, as soon as you are old enough to make the decision.

Well, I meant, this was an actual survey of grown men who had just recently been circumcised and preferred the sensation and addmited to it actually making their sex lives more active.

I don't know what kind of horrific events Majic has experienced to leave him so jaded. Not sure I want to. :hehe:

Does that surprise you? The man is an absolute pervert!

Well, so am I, but I've never once thought to myself "Man. My privates just feel so... desensitized. I totally want to have my foreskin back."

There are like millions of circumcised males, myself included, that are doing just fine.

It's not a big deal at all. Besides, circumcision is far more common in this country, so how exactly would it "**** up" a kids life? Oh, it also makes hygiene a touch easier.

What I meant is that this might be true for recently circumcised adults for a short period of time, but this is not true for infants (duh) and this is also not true after extended periods of time.
