Batcave Design Thread.

So much of Telltale's Batman designs are amazing. The suit, the cave, the landscape. Shame season 3 is never gonna happen :/

Telltale's back up and running with a new company, they're currently starting from scratch making Wolf Among Us 2, so never say never

In the light of the revealed costume and car, I warmed up towards Henry Ford type building.

Batman v Ferrari.

Judging by the Batmobile and the suit, which seem more self-made by Bruce then anything we've ever seen before I'm not counting on a very extravagant Batcave at all, which is disappointing.

I'm betting on something very minimalist if we get a cave at all, this batman seems more the bunker type.

Itd be great if he did have a minimalist cave. And we see it transform as the trilogy goes on.

I'm hoping for cluttered and messy as opposed to minimalist - his growth would be shown by the refinement of his equipment and collection of trophies, not by a lack of them.

Kind of like how his suit is just chock-full of stuff, but doesn't seem cohesive yet. It feels like something h'd lay out and modify on a messy workbench.

I'd rather not see another minimalist cave ala TDK Trilogy. It's underwhelming.

Telltale's batcave would be perfect for this. A minimalist cave makes sense but I don't want another secret hideout under a container like in TDK

Everything in this movie regarding Batman's suit, Batmobile and gadgets has been approached with the "What could 2 people, a genius billionaire and his butler realistically build in secret with no external help?" mentality
I expect the cave to follow the same logic.

I imagine it to be a cave of some kind.

I now fully expect an empty cave, a gas generator, one light, and maybe a laptop....maybe?

Anyone else radically disappointed by Snyder's 'cave'. It was more like a basement with waterfall than a real cave. Even Nolan's cave was bigger. Even worse that Batfleck had already lived through much of his history yet had nothing to show for it.

Sad!

I really dug what Nolan did with the cave in Rises with the platforms rising out of the pond. That was good stuff.
I could be wrong but I think we will see a cave here, even if it's pretty sparce. What I really really want to see is the grandfather clock entrance.

I think Nolan's cave design in TDKR was great. It just wasn't well used in the film. If it and the equipment there had received more prominence in the film and the story (like the Batbunker in TDK), resulting in Bruce getting to use more of it, I think we will all be much more positive. You either have to put everything on display to make the audience understand the cave's functionality, a la Burton or BTAS, or if going minimalist, you need to actually use the hidden functionality. With respect to Nolan, I still really love the imagery of Wayne Manor's 19th century red brick and iron foundations being the centerpiece and the entrance to the cave from the Manor. It was such a wonderful visual contrast from the sleek black stone and sharp high-tech lines of their version of the cave.

I really think the new Batcave will not have a minimalist aesthetic. It would not be at all consistent with anything else we have seen from this film or the design aesthetic they seem to be going for. As other have said, it needs to love like something put together by a genius billionaire and his butler without any outside help. I think it will look rough and cluttered with a lot of equipment.

The way this movie is going, it's probably going to be a regular cave, with a work table you can get from Walmart and a laptop lol

I loved the Burton bat-caves and the caves from Nolan's Begins and Rises. I hope Reeves combine them or come with a nice one for his movie. I doubt it will look too fancy or high-tech yet by his Batman being in his year two :batty:

I liked Nolan's "In the works" cave, specially the waterfall garage exit.

Also, I like that we are technically discussing how to decorate this guy's parent's basement where he does his hobby.

Didn’t like Affleck’s brighter science lab looking batcave. It never really felt like a batcave to me. And how it wasn’t under Wayne Manor.

Potential spoiler...

If the rumor of Bruce not having returned to public life in Gotham, but living secretly in the abandoned Arkham Asylum while he functions as Batman is true, we may see something closer to the Bat Bunker

I actually don't have a problem with that if it turns out to be true. Actually a pretty rad take on a kernel of a good idea from Zero Year.

It's BS. We know that Bruce Wayne is already out in public in this movie. Per the verified insider that showed a photo of Rob's chair, he went to a state funeral all dressed up billionaire playboy-like
