They better keep her a red head and hopefully use this costume

Instead of this one

.

I would expect that suit shown above to be used in movie.. if it was produced by Kevin Feige.

They should be so lucky. Poor Joss just entered a black hole. Why Joss, why...

I keep waiting for Josh or Variety to yell "April Fools!"

Wouldn't mind if he said that and left this movie project or if WB cancel this movie, only reason WB are making this movie is because Joss wants to make a movie on this character.

If she was 10 years younger Kristen Connolly would have made a good Babs.

Even now I think she'd be a good Oracle.

I would rather see a young idealistic Barbara in a origin story of sorts. I'd like to see her battle JK and Affleck in creating her own path. Especially since a robin is already dead it would be interesting to see Bruce in the mentor role. He is somewhat has that role in Justice league but they are all God like.

I'd actually rather that then to have a 30 to 40 something , "getting back in the game" version of the character in which we , once again, have to go backwards and establish a past career without being able to go on the journey with her to becoming Batgirl and growing in the role.

There are advantages to an established universe and backstory from the word go, but there are also setbacks in that you have to bring the audience up to speed with the past history of this version of the character and ask them to be emotionally attached to a version of the character they're meeting for the first time.

I'd want to see her to be in the 19 to 25 age range .

So much good news for the DCEU.

Another female hero solo movie which is much more eaiser to promote when its Batman realated.
And we also have......
Nightwing. Gotham City Sirens. The Batman. Suicide Squad 2. Man of Steel 2. Aquaman. The Flash. Green Lantern Corps. Shazam.

So 5 movies related to the Batman universe and people lose their !@#$ and there is two movies released this year that has a solo for Wonder Women and a team up that happens to include Batman but there are 5+ other movies in pre production that are not Batman related.
Its not a Batman DCEU because there is just as many films not releated to Batman being developed.

Hopefully KILLER MOTH will be the main villain.

Glamour magazine lists their casting choices, and first is Kristen Stewart

http://www.glamour.com/story/batgirl-movie-details

I note this because I've advocated for Stewart on the Barbara Gordon casting thread for 'The Batman' (she's a terrific actress, looks right for Babs, and has often independently repped Batman, wearing Bat t-shirts in public, which is awesome), and because none of my choices for a comic book movie role has ever made a media outlet list anywhere, ever (so, hurray for me, I guess).

Anyway, the writer also states "this is never going to happen. She's way too cool for a superhero movie, which is exactly why she's perfect!"
But hey, I never really thought a Batgirl movie could happen, so, who knows?

God no...

God no to her she's really unlikeable and I'm not saying Barbara has to be an oscar winner or anything but she's a horrible actress

I know that what qualifies as good or 'horrible' acting is often in the eye and ear of the beholder, but in her defense (and particularly in light of the 'oscar winner' comment), I'd like to note that a couple of years ago she became the first American actress to win the Cesar (known as 'the French Academy Award') for 'Clouds of Sils Maria' (and several festival and critic association best actress awards for that film, and also high critical praise for the just-released 'Personal Shopper').

Just sayin'.

I doubt that's what we'll get though. Why would they base the movie on Simone's New 52 run and then have it take place before the events of TKJ? I mean, in the end I guess anything is possible but it wouldn't make much sense to me.

Hopefully KILLER MOTH will be the main villain.
I want Firefly. Best C-list Batman villain ever. :o

Don't like joss whedon probably the movie I'm least looking forward to that's been announced

The idea for a Batgirl movie must be the most stupid i've found in a long time.
The more time passes, the more i think WB is trying to destroy DCEU, because so far there isn't one single good idea...from the very start, from Man of Steel.

To make a Batgirl movie without introducing her before in a Batman movie is pathetic.

Even so, even with all of this......the thing i quote makes it even worst.

So do you also think it is stupid to do a Nightwing movie before introducing him in a Batman movie?

Nightwing's going to be Grayson, spy extraordinaire played by Scott Eastwood.
You just don't know it yet. :cwink:

Can't use the same gimmick for Babs.
