Batman: Arkham Asylum 2.0

Out of curiosity has anyone achieved "Perfect Knight" for Arkham Asylum on either 360 or PS3 ?

I haven't yet I'm currently stuck with completing both the regular Shock and awe plus the extreme version to achievement for 360 in order to get "Prefect Knight".

I'm going to attempt to unlock this achievement before I get Arkham City .
I got the GOTY version last month and tried to finish them off but I got stuck on the challenge trophies. It feels so close yet so far away. :(

I have done 98% including riddles you gotta keep trying.

92% is the best I've gotten. Getting all the riddles was the main thing for me. I'm not that bothered about doing the side missions.

Just pre-ordered Arkham City, meant to do it months ago but I happen to be near my Gamestop today and decided to go ahead and get that down.

You are aware that at best buy their's an exclusive for getting access to Robin early with an additional two extra challenge maps included instead of waiting for the DLC pack that will probably be release later in the months to come after the October release ?

Gamestop only has an extra Joker's Funhouse challenge map as it's exclusive

Yarg..didn't know about the extra maps at Best Buy, I might have to switch it up then. It was confirmed though that Robin would still be available through DLC later though right?

Well according to Sarah

Right now Best Buy users who pre-order will get early access to Robin.

That seems to imply that later just like with Arkham Asylum, Rocksteady is planning to release a DLC pack that will contain the other challenge maps . I could be wrong. But is it really worth the risk ?

See the way I figure it, they'll be a set of challenge maps for Batman and Catwoman already but with the addition of robin now your now looking at a vast verity of maps. And according to sarah you'll have the opinion of using Robin in any of the other Challenge maps.

My suggestion to you is to pre-order from Best Buy.

Yeah, that's why my pre-order is with Best Buy

Has anyone ever seen the George Clooney easter egg in Arkham Asylum?? I found one in my last play through and was surprised when I couldn't find something about it online.

Nope. What is it?
Sorry the photo's so big, my first time messing with Photobucket, it's in the medical facility when you rescue Cash and the Doctor from the poisonous gas I saw a blinking sign that said "Dr. Clooney please report to gynecology".

Just got a platinum in this game this morning. Had to get the last medals for Rumble in the Jungle and Sewer Bat extreme. I love Sewer Bat extreme, there are about 15ish enemies and two gun lockers you have to be on the look out for. I didn't realize until just recently that doing the ground pound got you X100 combo points. Once I saw that I just got my max variation as soon as possible and tried to take out as many enemies as possible with the ground pound.

I don't remember how I got Shock and Awe extreme. I think I was more lucky that good. My problem was trying to finish the stage on time before the floor became active. Had to use a lot of the quick take downs every five hits and keep everyone on the same part of the arena.

Is there a ground pound?
I don't remeber ever using that and I completed all the challenges. Perhaps that would have made things easier.

"Ground Pound" is what the ground takedown is called when done in a combo.

Oh that. I thought you were talking like Arkham City's ground pound, which knocks many thugs at once.

I just got it today! I checked the unlock history of the AA trophies and my first was unlocked on the 28th August 2009 and I unlocked the "Perfect Knight" and PLatinum trophy today on the 27th July 2011. I wasn't playing solidly for those 2 years, believe me! I was so happy when I unlocked the platinum. Even though I have now completed it to 100%, I WON'T trade it in. I love it too much!

Shock and Awe extreme was awful. All too often the one jackass would go to get the gun and I wouldn't be able to get to him before the timer ran out. However, Rumble in the Jungle extreme was what gave me the most problems, all too often I'd have a great first two rounds only to totally suck on the third, low score and/or low health, giving me no chance to finish round 4.

Shock and Awe extreme was definitely the hardest but by no means impossible. I always just saved my takedowns for the knife or taser guys and I'd let them go get guns and just take them down quickly when they got back. Just gotta be quick about it. My favorite challenge map is the sewers extreme. I love that very small area with the huge amount of guys and just bouncing between them back and forth until I'm up to like a 80 hit combo.
