Batman: Arkham City

I just did the Mr. Freeze fight on New Game Plus for the first time. Man was that difficult. I had trouble getting all the takedowns needed for it

I'm trying to finish Campaign Mode with Catwoman and Robin(I finally finished all of Nightwing's). And some of the Predator maps with them are more irritating than fun. On the extreme maps most of the time you have to wait and wait and wait for the henchman/guards to get alone so you can either take them out or try to get one of the medals because they hardly go where you need them to. And that's not really fun.

It's bad enough that they don't have some type of Disarm and Destroy move for the Combat maps, but they also don't have half the tools that Batman has for the Predator ones. And some of their gadgets aren't that good. Nightwing at least had the batclaw and disrupter. As well as those wrist darts. But all Catwoman has is her whip, her bolas which doesn't work on goons wearing armor and her caltrops which only keeps a goon down for like a second. She also has the lowest health out of the four and it's more difficult to reach gargoyles with her. The main thing she has going for her is her speed and being able to sprint behind goons and silently take them out.

I just need to complete one more campaign with Catwoman and Robin and both of them involve Top Of The World Extreme. The most difficult Predator map in the game mainly because of how small it is. One of the medals for Catwoman is the take down the guy with the jammer last. Making it very difficult to tell where everyone is and whether or not you are clear to take someone out. Many times I had to start over because I thought I was clear and someone would shoot at me while I was doing a takedown. That leads me to just camp the ledges waiting for people to venture out there. And then often it would be the guy with the jammer and do me no good.

And one of the challenges for TOTW Extreme with Robin is to do a corner takedown and the guards tend to leave explosions in the majority of areas where a corner takedown is possible.

Having some serious trouble with the new game plus museum arena brawl-a-thon. Especially with the knife attacks. Not easy to counter, those...
Quite challenging...

I guess by the time I'll be able to get my hands on Arkham Knight, I'll be seriously trained! :D

I've spent over 20 minutes on some of those extreme maps. The conditions can be really annoying, sometimes. It was rewarding when I finally did it, though.

Now that' I've play all the Arkham games, my ranking is

1. Knight
2. City
3. Asylum
4. Origins

In terms of story, I think my favourites are Origins, Knight, Asylum and then City. In terms of gameplay? I'm still not entirely sure yet. But I'll give it more thought.

Just posted this in the batman Arkham Knight thread.
So just finished the game and just wow! What a finish! The end to this game is like the best end ever! Just brilliant these guys should writing a movie script for a batman movie some time! The story in this game just blows the story away in the other batman Arkham games! When it comes to the Arkham games I have to go like this.

1. City- second best story and close over all game to the other 2 I am about to say.
2. Origins- I never had any glitches problems like ever one else. To me this game is city but with a worse story.
3. Knight- Has by far the best story but the lack of challenge maps is to much to put this game ahead of the other 2. Challenge maps are like 60% of the replay value with these games.
4. Aslyum- Still a good game but not having side missions and the game being some much smaller and not having some of the combat stuff like beat down, double counter ect makes this game hard to play after the other 3.

I like how the ramification of City are explored in Arkham Knight! I'm curious what happen to Bane & Mr. Freeze afterward

That challenge is a nightmare.
I had lots of trouble trying to complete it controlling Batman, not going to try with the others.

That one was brutal. End of the Line Extreme was also a nightmare. I managed to 100% the Nightwing pack, but man was it tough. Not looking forward to doing them as Catwoman, I have a hard time controlling her for whatever reason.

Playing the New Game+ again, since the start, and I like that he has all the gadgets since the beginning of that mode, something Arkham Origins did not emulate.
And I can't believe I missed the hint all these times before today, that guy looking at Bruce telling him "You're on my list" and pointing his finger like a gun is Deadshot.

I never knew that

Me neither. I don't think any of the easter eggs lists mentioned that.

Checked one of the food containers dropped, it only contains pasta cans, how is anyone supposed to cook that?

Actually, all the talk about food drops and the lack thereof is pretty good foreshadowing of how Strange doesn't actually intend anyone to survive. No point in wasting resources...

So he trolls them by dropping food that needs water, and they have no means of cooking it.
Good plan.

We are back this time fully remastered with next Gen

It's going to be $50. I think that's too much for just the two old games that are upscaled. It should've been priced at $35-$40.

It's technically being ported to a new engine (UE3>UE4) and the few comparison shots we've seen do show upgraded textures/models. I'm more curious whether this'll eventually reach PC.
