The visuals look greatly improved (character models still look a bit off and overly saturated though) , and better yet, it has a release date of Oct 21th, here in the US.

It seems like in almost all of those pictures that the background is improved, but the character models are either downgraded or altered. Harley doesn't even look the same, it literally looks like a different person wearing the same costume or something. Weird, I've never seen a situation like this with a remaster.

That cutscene with Batman(the pic above) was pre-rendered in the original game but is in-game in the remaster. That can explain why it doesn't look as good but the character models are terrible.

It's funny, when I first saw the video, I was pretty impressed. But then looking at it again a few hours later, it hit me that the character models still look wrong, while the environments look great. I feel the problem is still that there's a lot of over-saturation, which basically kills the dark, moody tone of the games.

It seems like they've focused primarily on upgrading textures. The character models do look off by comparison.

How come they haven't worked to make the PS4 version better looking instead of making it less detailed and more plastic looking?

I'm happily content with the PS3 version and PC version I have.

It looks like they revamped Batman's face in AA to more closely resemble how it looked in AC.

The Penguin looks leagues better in the remaster. Catwoman looks about the same. Joker and Batman look worse. Everybody's outfit looks better, though.
