Batman: Arkham City

I'm replaying AC to try and complete the challenges but I'm having a problem I'm worried may be a glitch. In the Top of the World predator map one of the medals is detonating a mine to knock a guy out. Problem is there's not a single mine on the floor of the whole map. There's one guard who has mines on his body but I can't detonate those using the mine detonator. Anybody had this issue before or am I just screwed because of a random glitch?
I haven't heard of any glitches like that, but try YouTube for that map and see what happens. Maybe that guy starts laying down mines when they realize Batman is taking them out.

One thing I hope to change when I play B:AO is my eagerness to rush off to YouTube when there's the slightest bit of difficulty in figuring something out, just so I can progress further. This is not a slight on anyone here, but I realized I was kinda missing out on the 'sticking with it' aspect of the game, and the rewards for figuring out how to accomplish X task. I'm looking at you, Top of the World (Extreme) with Robin.

I loved using
- Batman
1. BTAS
2. Classic blue 70's
3. Beyond
4. Arkham City
5. Incorporated (Tim Burton 89 version)

Catwoman
Arkham city
BTAS

Robin
BTAS
Red Robin
Arkham City

Nightwing
BTAS
Arkham City

I have a confession to make. I never beat Harley's DLC bc I could never find the entrance to her hideout when you control Batman. Everytime I searched on the map, Id go to the marker but could never find it, get frustrated and turned it off. I finally decided to just watch a walkthrough on YT and went through the thing. It was good but didn't realize it was so short, especially playing as Robin, which I expected more of. Its too bad they never patched him into the main game. Its not easy coming back after a long time bc I forgot how to play. Simple things like gliding, I had to relearn and forget about combat. I got the platinum on AA, but I don't think I have the patience for this game bc there is so much more to do.

I don't think I'll be getting 100% with all the Riddler challenges.

Haha yeah, excesssive Riddler Challenges & nearly all the DLC being Challenge Maps would mean spending more time on things like that than actual gameplay. I'd rather play through the campaign again a couple of times. I hope the next game gives us more Harley Quinn style DLC. I'll buy EVERY story DLC they put out.

Rocksteady will probably announce any unfounded easter eggs when their new game comes out. They did the same thing with Arkham Asylum when Arkham City came out.

lol seriously its STILL a mystery?! Have they given any hints?

I have to get going on City again. I've started it twice and gotten bogged down early on both times.

I breezed through Asylum at least four times. I don't know why City isn't clicking with me.

Did sefton ever reveal the hidden easter egg that ties in to Arkham Knight?

No.

I mean he said that in 2012. It's possible that someone figured it out and he didn't know about it.

For example, recently people figured out that you can see Azreal on the roof of a building when you are entering Arkham City in the opening prologue.

I'm sure he'll reveal it when Arkham Knight debuts, much like he did for Arkham City showing the hidden room easter egg in Arkham Asylum found in Quincy Sharp office .

Yeah but I think gamers had found that and figured that out.

People found Scarecrow's lair and the timed, hidden Killer Croc sequence. What else could there be?

If the easter egg does in fact tease something from AK, then it'll be crazy to eventually find out what it is.

Team at Batman Arkham Videos would've found it long before. they showed all for AC even AO eater eggs.

That is true. If there was anyone else that was missed, IMHO it already would've been discovered.

I mean keep in mind Hill said this in 2012, and maybe he wasn't up on the Arkham Videos YouTube channel.

Recently went back and played some Arkham City. I felt like after beating most of the ranked and campaign challenges for Origins, I could improve my medal count on City.

And man, I don't know what it is, but the predator challenges are just much harder on City. I think what helps the predator challenges in Origins is the remote claw, and also the electric gloves for combat challenges. Overall gameplay and combat is much smoother though. Since I'm not an uber-awesome gamer, some of the extreme predator challenges are soul crushing.
