Because a non-Rocksteady Batman game worked so well with Origins, the 6/10 "Game of the OK".

People are FAR too hard on Origins. It's a VERY good game IMHO. So it has a few glitches.. Ok, I better NEVER play a Bethesda game ever again then...

I honestly had next to none. I played it post patch and the ONLY glitch I had was Batwing loading scenes. That's it.

And I say again.. I better never play a Bethesda or Obsidian game again if I'm worried about glitches.

From what I hear about BAO (and it refusing to even initiate installation on my PC), you got really really lucky

I think the patch fixed a lot of the issues people had. I'm not saying the pre-patch stuff never existed. My buddy played it pre-patch and refused to play it again until there was a patch..Afterward he said he as well barely had an issue.

I'm not gonna blame WBM.. Heaven knows how rushed they were to get this out. They made a good Arkham game (maybe not RS quality but still a good game) with great art design and a fantastic story... I'd like to see what they could do with more time and a bigger budget.

Snap. I love Arkham Origins. Brilliant game. Nailed the characters more than AA and AC did.

I didn't have glitches either.

I did at the beginning, but now there's none for me, and I've replayed the game 5 times since October.

I know this game takes place after Arkham City and since Harley is in the game there is gonna be some Joker mentions and the aftermath of his death, but I don't want it to over take the entire game or have him steal the spotlight again. I mean I love Joker but let focus the story on other villains this time.

As much as I'd love to see a Superman based game from these guys in a similar style to the Arkham series the problem I foresee is who do you have face off against Superman that would essentially make it an even match? the only thing I can think of would be some sort of alien invasion.

I don't think it would be too difficult. Superman has enough of a rogue's gallery to engage on different levels. They could combine Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions' approach and combine it with some elements of the Arkham games.

They can even have missions/side missions related to things Clark needs to accomplish. Superman's powers can be substituted for Batman's gadgets, you can use his X-ray vision as a detective mode for certain things (Getting info in a Lexcorp building, or analyzing Brainiac's activities).

The less they emphasize the combat aspect and rather deliver a well-rounded game like the Arkham games the better it'll be, and I think they have a lot to work with.

Can we keep the discussion on Arkham Knight? I am certain there is a Superman game thread.

In terms of promoting Arkham Knight, I hope DC does a comic tie-in. I would prefer a traditional digital comic instead of the app they released for Origins.

A great game with glitches can still be great. A mediocre game with glitches can't be anything more than mediocre at best. Like I said, 6/10 "Game of the OK".

As for Origins I also had no glitches at all except for the occasional batwing loading scenes where the audio was off. That was seriously the only problem I encountered the entire game.

I'll only say this about Rocksteady and Superman. If I remember correctly, it was just one guy from Rocksteady that mentioned Superman. Something about him not being right for video games. I could be mistaken though.
Also... Goyer, Snyder and Zimmer have all mentioned at some point that they wouldn't be right for Superman, or that they wouldn't know how to make a Superman movie, or that they didn't want to make one. Goyer wrote Man of Steel, Snyder directed it and Zimmer scored it. So... who knows.



Anyway... Moving on from Superman. When do you think we'll get our first look at gameplay? It's probably going to be the demo GameInformer saw. Do you think we'll have to wait until E3?

I agree. Although I think we'll definitely see him. Especially with Harley and Scarecrow being in the game. A flashback or a hallucination is possible. Might even be a playable section instead of just a cutscene.
