It wouldn't be the first time developers lied to use to throw us off the trail.

IF Joker returns in a flashback or hallucination then Rocksteady technically aren't lying,They haven't said that he wouldn't appear and just said he is dead but that there will be references through out the game cause he has been an important part

A flashback level or as a fear gas hallucination is fine,I just don't want him actually alive or brought back from the dead

I doubt, If WB Games want this as a yearly release then I don't think it will be. I think anther studio or WBM will develop future Arkham games since RS call it quits on Batman. I don't want another guy taking mantle of the Bat. Not yet anyway.

Yeah but those games could be sequels to Arkham Origins and NOT Arkham Knight. This is being designed as the "end" of the series.

They could easily continue this series with the intervening years between Origins and Asylum.

That was WB Montreal's game and not Rocksteady. Rocksteady's trilogy and their story has Joker dead. I'm done going back and forth with you haha.

I wouldn't mind this being the end of the present story/timeline while WB Montreal does yearly or bi yearly AO sequels until they properly get to AA to complete the whole series and timeline,Would be two console gens to complete most of Batman's career in the Arkham universe and there's so much potential with pre-AA and post AO stories

I'm one who believes Joker will simply be part of a flashback level or a fear gas hallucination,Not alive and a big twist or involved with the Arkham Knight,I'm also done debating this and so I guess we shall see who's theory is right in October when the game is released

I will be fine with rhat long as they're good games which Origins wasn't bad. I like to see Roger Craig Smith & Troy Baker should be back as Batman & Joker. As Knight could be last for Conroy in Arkham series.

I don't know how movies aren't made with this kind of animation yet, must be expensive I suppose. Blur does a better job than the live-action films! It would be a dream come true...

The game won't have any pre-rendered CG cut scenes this time. According to Rocksteady, all the cutscenes will be using in-game graphics.
