Has there been any discussion about the cowl? Obviously you wouldn't be able to make it completely cover his face like that. Would the traditional cowl work just the same?

I brought it up earlier, not completely sure how they would go about it.

maybe they could go the root of venom and make the mouth cgi and come out of costume when he talks but merge back in when its closed.

i think you could easily link the BBeyond suit to the suits used in Nolan's fims, since the TDK suit is supposed to be an advanced combat suit. The Beyond suit could just be another, upgraded version of that. Hell, you could even bring back Freeman for a flashback scene.

No cgi mouth ugh... the moving lips on the costume is the only thing I hated about Batman Beyond. The scenes where he had his lips closed was always badass.

For the cowl it should be like spiderman's mask. flexible material using white lenses for eyes.

Agreed. As cool as Nolan is, I don't yet see him doing a futuristic thriller.

For director, Alfonso Cuaron comes to mind. Between Harry Potter 3 and Children of Men, he's got the chops for both fantasy and gritty futuristic thriller.

Maybe my second or third choice.
