None of the suggestions on this page are good. I can appreciate that people are thinking outside of the box, but sometimes that’s not the answer.

It doesn’t do much for the conversation, but Jake Gyllenhaal is just so far and above all the other candidates

There were other actors that were rumored but it seemed like they were dead set on Affleck for a while. I think Snyder met with Josh Brolin but they both decided it wasn’t a good idea.

I actually brought him up a while ago and I actually think he'd be great for a younger, hungrier Bruce Wayne.

No, he doesn't look like the comics , but neither did Keaton. He has the physical presence yet also has that vulnerable quality that Bale had and Affleck lacked. He could also pull off the spoiled rich kid act easy.

We know he could pull off the voice easy and he can bulk up. Above all though, he has the chops.

I actually think he'd surprise people in how good he is. Adam and Jake are my top choices. What he has working against him is that Disney likely isn't gonna let him out of their sights for a while.

This is the problem with Bruce/Batman in the DCEU films. I really just don't have any emotional connection to him.

Driver, flat-out doesn't look the part. It'd be an EisenLex scenario.

Yeah. Keaton wasn't traditionally handsome and either but you'd be hardpressed to find someone who still thinks casting Keaton as Batman was a bad idea.

Yeah. He has a female fanbase from the show Girls . The guy would be a 6'2 , dark, mysterious, billionaire so its not like they'd have a hard time convincing audiences that women would chase him.

I could totally see him as player as Bruce Wayne , yet be the driven, pardon the pun, young man .

You kinda want an obvious horrid choice to loom over this series, at the expense of the best comic book character’s reputation... for a quick laugh?

Ya’ll are determined to bring DC to the dark ages. Don’t wanna hear moaning when we’re in our 40s and 50s with no new films in sight.
