He has to be tall, Affleck was 6'3 i believe.
And Keaton was 58. I prefer a Batman thats taller than that, but height is really not that big of a deal here.
I thought about it and though he is a good actor, I dont want ATJ as Batman. I think he would be better suited as a villain that we love to hate. His best role so far IMO was in Nocturnal Animals as a despicable, sadistic character. Ive never really found him that likable or personable in his heroic roles.
Nicholas Hoult is really an interesting choice. I do think he could have the right look for it. Im just not convinced that he has the necessary darkness. Im open to him though.
Richard Madden is interesting as well. Ive seen him in Cinderella and GOT. He was solid as a supporting character in both. The big question is if he has what it takes to be a leading man. Im not sure he does, but Id love to be proven wrong.
I genuinely think the best two choices are Armie Hammer and Robert Pattinson. Hammer has proven himself in the last couple of years, and pretty much everyone agrees that hes the obvious choice, as boring as that may be. I think he would really do a great job though.
Pattinson is more of a wildcard choice that low key checks off all the boxes when you really start thinking about it. He has the look, the height (not that it matters), the charisma, experience as a leading man, and genuine talent. I think he could bring something fresh and exciting to the table.
The way I see it, Armie Hammer would basically be Affleck 2.0, while Pattinson is more in line with a Keaton or Bale type of Batman.
