Robbie Amell is a pretty bad actor IMO.

Reeves is such an incredible actors' director that he could churn out an oscar worthy performance out of a rock. Just like how Jenkins did with an actress like Gadot. I wouldn't worry extremely much about him casting a lesser actor, tbh, because I'm certain that he would direct him (whoever that would be) in delivering a great performance over the course of that film and having the actor and his iteration grow over the course of a hopeful trilogy.

I doubt Reeves & WB cast their Batman yet... I think they are still meeting and auditioning folks and I expect the casting to be finalised and announced in a few weeks time at the earliest. Wouldn't be surprised if it even took them until August to do so...

In my opinion Reeves and WB have discussed actors who could possibly play Batman. My sources tell me they are looking for people who are actors and will agree to play Batman. WB is interested in someone who will play Batman, preferably someone who will be willing to put on a Batman costume and appear in front of the camera and pretend to play Batman. Matt Reeves agrees with WB on this. Both think getting an actor to play Batman will be very important for the movie.
