I have heard that Mangianello feels that he didnt try hard enough to get the Superman role.
He may see this as a second chance and win or lose, he wants to give it his all.
Nothing wrong with that .
There are a lot of actors not on these lists who are going to try to be the next Batman.

I must admit, I have never considered the angle of jaw structure
as an important factor in choosing the next Batman.

I suppose it is though .
i think it is because thats all we see of batman other than his eyes it is why i prefer batman to have strong facial structure i dont want a soft featured pretty boy under that mask it is why armie hammer would look laughable under the cowl same with ryan and bomer imo

it is why i want strong tough facial features for batman

bale had that

even brolin has that

Can you imagine if Brolin get's the job that there's a scene where Clark comes back to Smallville to find Bruce Wayne in bed with Martha Kent. Then Clark start whaling away on him screaming "YOU THINK...YOU CAN F---......MY MOTHER!!!!"

:ohe wrote that dialogue Kevin Smith?

I think Josh Brolin is the man for this.

To me, Bale is the best live-action Bruce Wayne for the late 20's to late 30's Bruce. He was also the best "rookie Batman" we'll probably ever see, in Begins with that voice and suit.

But Keaton is the best primed up Batman who was in his 30s.

We have yet to see the seasoned mid 40s Batman or Bruce Wayne. If we can get someone like Brolin who is an established actor with the chops, has the look and physique, he could be known as the best grizzled Batman in live-action. Comparable to Kevin Conroy in animation. All you need to complete this is for the writers to write Bruce as the world's greatest detective. Then get the designers to create the ultimate bat suit that's close to animation. THEN at last, get a director (Snyder might be able to pull this off) who shoot amazing fight scenes with fantastic choreography. If you put all of that into a blender, you have the best Batman/Bruce Wayne of all time along with something the world hasn't seen before.

Brolin would also nail the voice.

Thank you kind sir! Im sure there's a couple who share my thoughts too though. It really is the way to go.

Action and choreography tend to be Zack's highlight. Batman is near the LEAST of my worries. Unless they go too extreme or make him silly, then he'll probably bring to life the most aesthetically pleasing Batman.

My vote is Armitage, though I wouldn't mind Urban at all. Brollin looks 50, though.

i hope batman fights like ozymandias from watchmen

he was pinpoint accurate, brutal, and very fluid in his movements and very fast

Artimage. He is Bruce.

I'd be chuffed with Brolin and pretty happy with anyone that isn't Hammer, Timberlake or LaBeouf or a wooden roid-freak.

Poor Bale, his face was so thin. I could not buy him as Bruce Wayne.

And what you say is nonsense.
If we want a strong facial structure so Bomer is a good hoice, since the bottom of his face is the same as that one of Henry.

Watch yourself.

The main problem with guys like Bomer, Hamm and Caviezel is that all of them are the MAIN stars of TV shows that a currently on the air. And this movie's production is going to overlap with the production of all those shows, most likely.

It's an elephant in the room that people keep seem to ignoring. These guys are contracted to those shows, they have to honor that obligation.

Is Bomer a good actor? I've never seen him in anything.

So you need to watch more movies.
But his filmo is not long..
He was Ken in Magic Mike, where you can see his body is...really sexy. :hrt:
He is currently in White Collar, will be in Winter's tale with Colin Farrell, is the voice of Superman in a animated movie,...etc.

The Normal Heart (TV movie) (filming) : Felix Turner
In Time : Henry Hamilton
Glee (TV series) : Cooper Anderson
Chuck (TV series) : Bryce Larkin (that's funny, he was the love interest of Kaley Cuoco, who is one of Henry Cavill'ex )
Traveler (TV series) : Jay Burchell
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning : Eric
Flightplan : Eric
Tru Calling (TV series) : Luc Johnston (one of my favourite shows)

Indeed, it's maybe the last season of White Collar.
And they stop the show during 5-6 months.

I recall that Batman will not be the main character in MOS, so I don't think he will have lots of scenes. It's not like the filming is so long.
Henry himself will be in TMFO and the filming has not even started again!

I'm sure Bomer is a fine actor, and he is certainly handsome. While I am in the camp that prefers talent to physical attributes, he does seem a bit too weedy to me, however. His looks are extremely elfin and boyish. It just doesn't fit, in my opinion.

I agree that Bomer is a little too "pretty" for Batman or Bruce Wayne, but he actually does have a good facial structure that would work under the cowl. Gosling, on the other hand, has a very weak jaw and looks nothing at all like the character. Some actors, regardless of their level of proficiency, just aren't right for superhero roles. Gosling is one of them. Others include: Leo DiCaprio, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Dan Akroyd, Jamie Foxx, etc. etc.

Matt Bomer looks like he could be Henry Cavill's younger brother..
