:lmao:

And people think Gosling would be a "bro" Batman :o

Bale's accent is weird.

I went from thinking that Bale was a total prick for that incident to loving him more for it. What can I say, I like edgy guys.

I liked how he went on the radio show and completely trashed himself. Showed some humility there. Plus the incident itself gave birth to one of the funniest YouTube dance remixes I've seen. :woot:

We have talked about Joel Edgerton as a possibility .
He has been cast as Ramses in Darren Aronfsky's Moses which stars Bale in the title role .
Snce Edgerton could be Batman and Aronofsky almost directed another version of Batman and Bale was the latest actor to play Bruce Wayne, I thought it was worth mentioning.
EDIT:Source: Deadline.

And that Shane guy seems like a prick. He looks like a prick to me too, like a guy real full of himself.

(I think the Begins suit could look really good in some shots, btw - I liked how "un-busy" it was in contrast to the TDK suit)

Ridley Scott's directing. Aronofsky's doing the Noah film with Russell Crowe (Bale had to turn that down because of his Malick films).

Plus, he also made fun of himself at his Oscar speech. :hehe:

Great workout music TBH. :woot:

He also called and apologized for it on a radio station that was ripping into him and making fun of him for months and months and months where the hosts would imitate and make fun of him and have callers impersonate him.

Also Bale didn't have to and I'm sure WB didn't want him to but he visted the victims of that monster who shot up the theater. He was a total class act during that horrible time.

My "issue" with Bale's voice isn't so much with Bale himself but with Nolan for allowing him to do it the way he does. Bale only talked like that because Nolan wanted him to. I'm sure if Nolan told him to tone it down a little he would have, and could have sounded more like Keaton for example.

Oops, sorry about that.

Was Keatons Bat voice different from his Wayne voice?
I dont recall.

Yep, his was lower (deeper?) than his Wayne voice and whispery and cool, in like an almost Clint Eastwoody way, but he still spoke loud enough to be understood, and you could understand him.

Clint Eastwood should be the old Batman we've been waiting for.

lol I feel like I talk about my pure dislike for the Bale voice too much. I'll just say this, I hope the next actor who portrays the Dark Knight doesn't use anything like the Bale Bat voice.

I don't know why Nolan changed. His voice in Batman Begins was great;

Is it just me, or do you guys think Bale would be PISSED if he heard about the rumors going around? Like "want me to trash yer lights!" pissed.

Nah I don't think so. I feel he is the kind of guy who would just see it and go "I know that's false and I don't care what anyone else thinks" plus if anything it doesn't put him in a bad light it puts WB in one for not having any faith in the team currently to get a new decent Batman.

I also like Bale as a person. Truthful is the word I'd use. He's not like your "nicest guy in Hollywood" kind of guy but he isn't just an out and out d**k. He is just an average human being who just happens to be famous. I could imagine if you approached him on the street or whatever he'd be a reasonably nice/shy guy.

Loved Bale's voice. There is no accurate way to voice batman, it's all subjective. There just has to be a low tone since I remember that being the description in the source material. Even Conroy went lower. But I don't want to hear it again. To me it was a Nolan/Bale thing...so even if Bale returned with Snyder at the helm, I think it would at least be like his Begins voice.

A return to the Keaton approach is perhaps the most universally accepted so I would go with that for the reboot. Conroy's is still THE voice but that wouldn't work in live-action I don't think. It's too obvious that it's Bruce Wayne. When you're a fanboy you can suspend disbelief because of your love and commitment to Batman, and when you're a kid (which was the target audience for BTAS) you don't think of those things. Chances are if you're an adult watching the animated series it's because of nostalgia, you were a kid when you first saw them or you're basically a hardcore fan. So the Conroy voice cant really work in live-action, general audiences would call ******** on that.

Michael Keaton's voice is the way to go. To separate itself from Bale and to win back the haters. But yeah, I still love Bale's voice. His version had a strong emphasis on "channeling his rage through batman, becoming a beast, a creature". So it worked.

Id like the new Batman to be calmer, more collected, quieter than Superman.

Offering Bale a ton of cash to reprise his role makes WB look like smart. It has nothing to do with lack of faith and everything to do with money. WB are in the movie BUSINESS afterall. Fanboys need to stop this romantic notion that studios care about anything other than money or that they should when it comes to these glorified live action cartoons.
