Lee Pace actually sounds like a really good choice. Jet black hair and a bit of bulk.

My top choices as of now in no particular order:

-Ryan Gosling
- Matthew Goode
- Eion Bailey
- Chris Pine
- Channing Tatum (left field choice prob not popular but I think he is just as good as Gosling)

Ryan Gosling is my top left field choice. Though, I don't think he's a bad choice at all.

Like I said before, I think he could be a great Keaton/TAS style Batman.

i'd rather see gosling as lex personally

That..... actually wouldn't be so bad.

If they were to go with a younger Lex, ala Smallville, he would be a great choice.

Though, its clear from the very shortlist of candidates, so far, that Snyder will be going for an older Lex Luthor.

Early 40s to Late 50s.

As much as I loathe the idea of Ryan Gosling as Batman...I can actually see him pulling of a younger Lex Luthor. That is definitely more of the type of character he excels at.

By the way if I see Channing Tatum suggested again...

even tho he was like 21 gosling looked good bald in the believer when he played a nazi skin head

Channing Tatum should not be Batman. Just no. And that's not even coming from a bias against the guy, he's just not fit for this role.

HOWEVER, I do think he could pull off Barry Allen or Hal Jordan. I will give him that. But no Batman.

Channing Tatum as Batman would be awful. THAT would be one thing that would keep me from seeing this movie, at least in the theaters. I just couldn't bring myself to shell out $12-$18 to see that.

I've always thought Chris Pine would be a great Green Lantern

How's this for a change from the Gosling, Evans etc suggestions?

Here's an off the wall candidate. Up and coming actor. Loved him in Friday Night Lights and his performance as Gambit. He could definitely pull off the Bruce Wayne persona. Onky question is could he be dark enough to pull off The Batman.

No.

Kitsch is one of those guys Hollywood tried to make a star without really taking a good hard look at whether he has any talent or charisma. Though he might have been really good in Friday Night Lights, whatever appeal he had there seems to have dissipated in the years since. He managed to be one of the worst things about Wolverine (and there were many to chose from, so that's quite a feat). John Carter and Battleship would have bombed no matter who played the lead, but his bland performances as the hero in each of those movies kept either one from even being remotely tolerable.

Don't like any of these suggestions at all. It needs to be a big actor who is in his 40s and somebody who suits the part. You don't follow Bale with some wussy no name who can barely play the Riddler nevermind Batman.
