The only thing that he has ever nailed that he should be proud of is Miranda Kerr.

They have started I think. Scott Adkins jumped the gun and posted that he had auditioned but subsequently had to delete the tweet.

Probably because WB threatened to sue him for damaging their good name.

I think some WB casting agent is obviously looking at "The Hobbit" actors, as evidenced by the announcement of Richard Armitage and Orlando Bloom.

The next names announced might be 2 other Hobbit actors:
Lee Pace (34 years old, 6'3)

Benedict Cumberbatch (37 years old, 6'0)

They are not my picks, but thought I'd mention them because Armitage and Bloom were surprise picks too. It might be because of their "Hobbit" roles that got them listed as contenders.

Oh, I forgot to add Luke Evans (34 years old, 6'0) he is also an actor in the next Hobbit movie.

Lee Pace over that ugly but talented bastard, Cumberbatch.

Bruce is attractive, Cumberbatch looks like an alien

Bloom seems to have a decent bottom-half-of-face for the cowl. But he's the complete opposite of "an older Batman." Despite being older than Cavill he looks ten years younger.

However, it's strangely reminiscent of my feelings toward Heath Ledger pre-joker. I'll bite my tongue.

I think the "older" Batman "rumour" was just fanboy invention. Whether it happens or not, it will be irrespective of such bare speculation.

Although I am concerned about his american accent. Now I'll bite my tongue

Let's just hope that one of them reads these boards, so they can make the best casting decision based on everyone's input too.

Yes, because fans would never get stuff wrong. :p :p :p

We can't even agree on a lead actor for the film. Why in the world would the execs look to us for ideas?

As per Jett from BOF, "Them crickets will stop chirping soon..." :hmm

It looks like someone looked up what RDJ got paid for Avengers and started a rumor with the same amount (50 million) for Bale returning. It could end up being true or another amount similar, but looks like a fake rumor.

yeah Bale is worth that??? He literally hasn't had a hid apart from superhero films and those pretty much all make money. It wasn't like they made money because of him.

Downey can literally pull in audiences. Downey would merit 50 million, but Bale? I don't think so at all. The rumor is absolutely ridiculous.

Of course he doesn't.

He has no reason or means to. We're can't be sure if this rumour is real or not.

I think it's best we go into this with an open mind, just in case.

Bloom just might come through, if it's true. But I'm 99.9% sure it isn't.
Even Jett thinks it's b.s. If Bloom were to play Batman (it will never happen), this movie would not only flop, I would make fun of it harder than Batman & Robin which at least knows its place as a comedy sometimes.

Sometimes insiders plant false information to tabloids and such.

It's a massive thing going on that our minds can't comprehend :o

I knew it. Henry cavill is playing batman too. That's why they're so hush hush about it.

Luke Evans is still a damn fine choice imo. As long as he could pull off the accent.
But seeing how he is attached to crow and the next hobbit, I don't see him having time for Batman.

You don't watch a whole lot of No One Lives do you, Mr. Goliath? :o

Lee Pace is in the new Marvel "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie.

Luke Evans has great chin and he and Cavill are already bros:
