Someone between 35 and in early 40s should be a good choice i'm not looking for a grandpa. I know many people want someone in mid 40s but in my opinion i think it's a little bit unrealistic IMO.

I think Charlie just meant to pay the actor a compliment by suggesting that he looks youthful or appears a bit younger than he actually is. My sense is that English isn't his first language.. or something.

That's an awesome choice you thrown out there, he's 36 and he looks like a young boy not bad at all.

Yep he doesn't look his age for sure. He should be able to play younger or older as they want, if they want him that is.

Anson Mount has been my pic for awhile now. He may have scheduling conflicts like the other TV stars we've mentioned, but I'd love to see this. If you've never seen his acting, check out Hell on Wheels on A&E. Just ignore the character's strong southern accent.

Batman needs to be a tall and imposing fighting machine and a real beast and on par with Superman. A short guy would not sell.

That is just not a good looking guy to me. He's okay but not Bruce Wayne handsome.

Can I just assure you that (beyond a shadow of a doubt) that Richard Armitage is insanely handsome....

Armitage ticks all boxes.

And FYI. There was a story a few years back, I think it was a Scarecrow tale. And there was a picture of Bruce Wayne from the side who has a roman nose in that depiction......so Armitage DOES look like Bruce

Bruce Wayne's looks vary with different artists, but Armitage is certainly well within the spectrum. I think Brolin may be just outside, but you can always find some cack-handed drawing in a comic that looks like pretty much anyone

I feel Brolin's a little too old I mean he was married to Clark's mom. Can you imagine the conversation between Bruce and Clark(especially in HISHE or ItsJustSomeRandomGuy's videos) if he was cast?

bahahaha. you make an interesting point. truth be told, i haven't put much thought into my ideal choice for the role, but when i heard the rumours flying around that he was one of the actors the studio is looking at, it sounded good to me.

Armitage has the more recognisable mainstream look of the character I'd say.

Brolin has a more Alex Ross feel.

Brolin, to me, just looks like a crotchety old man these days. More like a school football coach than a superhero.

i think that's part of the appeal for me tho, depending on how much The Dark Knight Returns will be source material. watching him in Gangster Squad - the part-hero, part-bastard role - makes sense to be a grizzly Bats

For me it's Armitage,Bentley, and Crudup. If none of them get cast, I'd want Karl Urban. Hamm looks a little older than he is, and Brollin would look downright weathered when placed along Cavill's supes.

I personally don't see Batman/Bruce Wayne when I see Richard Armitage. He's got too much of a Bradley Cooper look to him.
Bentley and Crudup I agree with lookswise, although the Bentley's acting, is questionable. As is the failry high pitched voice. I'm picky with my Batman t:
