I'm on the Jon Hamm bandwagon still though, but I honestly wouldn't mind Hartnett.

I think a possible issue with Hartnett back then was the stigma of playing a superhero compared to now. Now that there's so many of them, there isn't an issue of fearing for type casting or anything like that. You just do them, make some money, use it as a stepping stone to get other roles that you find interesting or allow you to make even more money.

For the people who still care, Elmayimbe, who despite his lame hyping of Rocket Raccoon last night, that casting is most likely confirmed.

He's on the schmoesknow podcast tonight, possibly dropping some "tidbits" for Batman vs Superman.

Who knows if theyre real but I watch the show every Thursday night so im tuning in. Ill let you guys know what he says, if someone else doesn't before me.

Hartnett did a superb job as a detective/cop in 'The Black Dahlia' and I loved his dramatic turn in 'Mozart and the Whale'.

He was great in 30 days of Night and Black Hawk Down in two very action-oriented, dark roles. He's very under the radar, and I could see him as a tortured soul.

I hope they will go for the older Batman because without an older Batman it will get twisted. How Bruce Wayne became Batman? By the deaths of his parents or by the event of metropolis? I don't want an origin story. How we can watch the movie without the origin story of Batman if Bruce Wayne became batman after the event of metropolis?

Yeah I was annoyed but that's probably on me for expecting Batman.

He said it's up to Kristian (host of Schmoesknow) if he's gonna let the tidbits out on the show or not. So it may not happen. I cant see them not asking him about it so im sure it'll go down, but I hear it's a stacked show tonight so don't get letdown if it's a no-go lol.

There is a dilemma, whether Bruce Wayne became Batman by the death of his parents or he became batman by the event of metroplis. The older batman is the logical choice i can't see Bruce Wayne become Batman after the event of metropolis it doesn't make sense. I can't see either the origin story of batman retold in a Superman movie that's ridiculous.
