He's a nicer guy and he's got a son.
Yeah sure. And when Joker got hit by a semi in detective he died for good too.
Pfft, you're kidding right? Since when does a big explosion kill anybody in a superhero comic? Hell, that didn't even kill Jason Todd, and he survived two.
Not yet, but he's gonna have an arc coming up where he takes over as the Bat in the future during Armageddon and battles the devil, or something like that.
So...how old are you again? 10, 11?
In any case, while I certainly don't prefer the format Morrison used to standard comic storytelling, I think it was very, very fitting for the type of story that takes place in the issue. I think if it was told in the traditional way, with Kubert on art, a lot of the power and moodiness of the piece would've been removed.
I'm not a fan of computer generated art in the slightest, but, at least, Van Fleet's art set the mood perfectly, and pegged exactly what Morrison was trying to do with the issue.
I love your assumption that I think seth is stupid just because I disagree with his opinion. Hey, squeakness said she didn't like the format (or the writing, or the art) in the other Batman discussion thread, and I didn't say or think she was a child. Why? Because she states her opinions clearly and intelligently. And while I may disagree with them, I can't help but feel respect for her. She's obviously a very smart person.I love this argument againt people not liking the format, the "You must be 10 or hate reading" argument.
I....can....be.....anything..
