Discuss the killer that is...

Whud..Whud..whud :woot:

Hey...you do what you have to to survive. That's reality.

Great run by Barr & Davis.:yay:

Except that particular run is now Pre-Crisis.

Batman is not a killer in continuity.

To be fair he did not kill him, he put him on the path for certain death, but lets face it, Batman is more important than some crook.

In his first ever appearance he punched a murderer into a vat of acid, remarking "A fitting end for his kind."

It was in self-defense! :cmad:

Not every story written before the Crisis is out of continuity. Unless it directly conflicts with current continuity, it's in continuity.

That aside, I'd hardly say shielding yourself using a bad guy is the same as killing someone. Batman wasn't the one pulling the trigger.

Bats used to kill all the time.

This is one of my favorite kills.

True, but that story was written with the pre-crisis version of Jason Todd. So it's out of continuity.

I have no idea why that I find that so incredibly funny. Perhaps the lack of any context makes it seem like an indiscriminate act of racially motivated violence... Still, Batman's Cowl and dark face look awesome there.

This is like Batman shooting a guy in the foot in BEGINS.

How? Batman knew shooting the guy in the foot would only injure him, and in no way possibly kill him.

Using a guy's body as a shield for a spray of gun fire is vastly different.

Batman doesn't shoot the guy in BEGINS ... the thug is pulling the trigger, and to deflect it from hitting him head on, Batman grabs the thugs trigger hand and points the guy's hand w/ gun at the other guy's foot ... thus hitting him. Batman doesn't pick up the gun and shoot the guy ...

Do yall watch these movies?

It's the same thing as lifting the guy up and throwing him off a building, Batman could have easily jumped free or throw a rang at the shooter. :cwink:
Pleading self defence would never stick in any court due the fact he places himself willing in these situations.
