Batman Forever

Alright. I change my stance on this subject. Yes, its a bad movie. But I still like it.

Yeah, getting back to Batman Forever, I wish that they wouldn't have turned Two-Face into another clone of the Joker but they did. The Riddler was definitely the best villain of that movie. I like Two-Face more which is why I was so disappointed with his portrayal but I guess it was good enough considering who was behind the movie.

I'm watching it & it's at the part where Poison Ivy removes the gorilla costume to try & seduce Batman & Robin. I must say, Chris O'Donnell was superb as Robin, it was Clooney that messed up with his wobbly ass head.

The casting in that movie is all wrong, the characters are written wrong, the storyline is wrong, the only thing right is Alfred. And the close up of Alicia's bum in her leather bat suit.

The casting wasn't all wrong, Chris O'Donnell's Robin was very close to TAS incarnation of Dick Grayson/Robin. He did a good job.

Whatever you say. I love Robin, I liked O'Donnell in the role. BUT, the dialogue, premise, acting of the entire movie was bad.

Plus they should have kept him in a more classic Robin suit, than a more Nightwing one.

To me Chris seemed to improve in B&R & the conflict between him & Batman actually reminded me of the conflict Robin had with Batman in TAS episodes "Robin's Reckoning."

Great episode, actually it's a two part episode if I remember correctly...But that TAS episode was done a hell of a lot better than a multi-million dollar live action movie. That tell ya something?

I know, that's why I said episodes & not episode. Btw, everything done in TAS was better than the Batman movies (except for '89 which is what started it all).

Hmmmm...I think they are both too different. I love TAS, but I also love the first 3 movies. I'm one of those bat fans that thinks 89' Batman was overrated anyway.

The first three movies were great, don't get me wrong, but I love TAS, it was put together so well. However, isn't the first Batman movie what started TAS?

It's what got people back into the Batman craze I guess. The 80's really brought Batman back. You had the Killing Joke, then the death of Jason Todd, and TDKR...then the film hit in 89.

Yep yep, Michael Keaton was the BEST Batman of that franchise. His Bruce Wayne was okay, not the best, but okay. As of now, I'd say that Batman is my favorite superhero. I have all five movies so I'm happy that I can go watch them at any time which is why I'm watching B&R. I mean, hey, I bought it, so I mine as well watch it, right?

I suppose. I own all the live action movies except B&R, I even own the 1966 movie.

And I own all 4 seasons of TAS, as well as MOTP and Sub-Zero. All three seasons of Batman Beyond and ROTJ uncut.

I refuse to own Batman and Robin, but I may hafta cave when I buy the rereleased batman set on blu-ray this fall.

My dad bought BF & B&R for me at the same time & I was eager to watch them. This was all last summer. BF grew on me while I will never like B&R the same way I like BF. I have ROTJ but I don't have it uncut. I actually thought I was buying the first few episodes of BB but I ended up getting the censored version of ROTJ which I'm glad I got. I want to get the four seasons of TAS but I don't know where I can buy them online & pay money & not have to pay by credit card.

Just use a debit card then. I get most of my stuff from Amazon they are cheap. Some stuff I asked for for Christmas from my gf, she got me TAS volume 2-4, as well as BB season 2.

TAS always takes me back to 4th grade, but I think by then it was on it's second season...But everyday after school I'd come home and watch it. Re-watching the episodes many years later is a real treat.

You don't get it, I don't have a credit card yet, I'm not even out of Middle School yet (I will be this year though). I want to pay cash but I can't seem to find any of the DVD's at Blockbuster, K-Mart, of Gamestop.

I only have about 12 of the episodes on DVR & four episodes on VHS tapes.

Well the the hell am I suppose to know how old you are kid? And why the heck are you up so late if you are in middle school anyway? It's almost 2 am:hoboj:

I suggest you then ask your parents for the DVDs for a birthday or holiday.

What the hell are you talking about? I can hardly understand what you wrote, I think you need to use the edit button.

Sorry I'm a bit tired. What I meant to say was:

How the hell am I suppose to know how old you are kid?

And I thought this second part was fairly clear:

And why the heck are you up so late if you are in middle school anyway? It's almost 2 am.

Anyways...

BF is definitely the better of the Schumacher movies, but it's not without its faults.

I really liked Chris O'Donnell, especially in the Nightwing suit which was a nice comic nod. He was better than Clooney at least.

I never said you were supposed to know, just that I'm too young to have a credit card & I can stay up as long as I want, it's the weekend for Christ's sake.

Well you got all huffy puffy about me not understanding why didn't have or want to use a CC. I forget middle school kids don't have jobs so they have no money, credit cards, debit cards, etc.

I may perhaps be the only college senior that works at 8 am on sunday mornings.
