Batman Forever

Oh I see... Shame that you should close off your mind to two films that play at least some part in BatHistory.

Oh, and congrats on the 1000th post!

Batman credit card in B+R, with the expiry date 'Forever'

Yeah that sucked. Big time.

If you're a Burtonite, how do you feel about the direction the new franchise is taking? Honestly? Don't you prefer it to Schumacher?

I love Nolan's work with Batman. I'm just nostalgic.

Thanks for the congrats on 1000 btw. :D

Wow I must have blocked that out of my memory, why the hell would he have a batman credit card again?

Thanks, first to notice!

I can see that, I watch B89 a lot just to see the work, it's things like the model work in the BatWing crash and stuff.

Batman Forever was just hit and miss. I simply ignore it (alongside the justifiably horrid Batman & Robin) because I like Batman to have a clean slate in my mind. Between Burton and Nolan he has that.

Same goes for Spider-Man. The first two were great (especially the second) butI will forever ignore the 3rd's existence.

This is just personal opinion. Not looking for a big debate.

I love Batman Forever, it was my second favorite movie of the entire franchise. Val Kilmer as Bruce Wayne was spectacular & from that franchise he was closest to TAS incarnation. As for the Spider-Man films, the third if my favorite but as you said it's all personal opinion.

I love Forever as well, it was my first film, I had all the marketing stuff (Just like WB wanted!) and looking back I still like it. It has potential, which I think is what everyone says about it.

Oh, and yeah, the BatCreditCard was a bit... Un-needed.

What version of Batman was the creditcard in? Adam West's Batman? I'd expect that much from that lame version of Batman.

I'm about to finish watching forever tonight...started it the other night and fell asleep not becayse it's bad, but because I've seen it so many times, I can quote it.

I watched most of Batman Beyond yesterday morning, great movie, especially since it's animated.

Great film... if you ignore McGinnis (which isn't easy to do at all).

It was in B&R, in the scene where the rich Gothamites, Bats and Robin try to win a night with Ivy.

Yeah, it was such a wasted scene, if done properly, Batman and Robin trying to outbid each other could have perfectly shown the way their relationship was breaking down.

Instead we go the credit card.

I might watch BR tonight, I keep meaning to get round to it again. I'm currently in the process of re-reading all my TPB's as well.

I wanna watch BR badly, but I've loaned the DVD to a friend of mine, who hasn't seen it yet. I'll take it from him by force.

I think you should. With a team of ninjas.

That kind of thing annoys me. I lent Batman Begins to my brother two weeks ago -- he has yet to watch it. I want it back. :cmad:
